5Invader Zim Series 1: Gir Figure toy review
By A Customer
I am a huge invader zim fan. I have series one Zim, Dib and now Gir. I also series 2 doggie suit gir. Gir comes with the biggest invader playset ever. You can place any zim figure in the flying pig. the normal zim, human disguise, etc. Gir comes with only 3 accesories besides the flying pig playset but still is pretty cool. He comes with a crazy taco bag, suck monkey cup, and a saucer moron hat. Gir's head opens on the top so that u can put the muffins from the doggie suit gir inside it. He only has articulation in his arms, sadly. I recommend this figure only for older kids. If you drop it once it WILL get a scratch. Knowing palasades and their fragile figures they all have to be fragile with. Little kids tend to drop things. so I would recomend it for 10 and up.

5Best Zim Toy Yet!!!
By A Customer
I love this thing, I am a HUGE Zim fan and I already have some other Zim toys, Gaz, Doggie GIR, Ms. Bitters, Human Zim, but this one is the coolest, I got lucky and got it for $60, but I love it it's really cool! The top of his head comes off so I can put in his cupcake. The pig is really cool too, I want to find series 1 Zim now so I can put him in the pig! I'm going to try to the find that! I also have the red tallest coming in the mail soon!

5Not a must have, but a great have
By NuJoi
I believe if you're serious about cooking, you should own great cookware and excellent knives. I finally stepped up and got excellent knives. For those who haven't heard the hype, Shun is one of the most respected knife brands in the world.Great features of the entire line include these cool "D" shaped handles that fit your hand better. Each knife is made in a right- and left-handed version ([...] for lefties). The steel used for the blades is harder than what you would find in most other knives. The knives are EXTREMELY sharp. If you're building your set and want to take care of the must-haves first. Move this down on your priority list. Get the chef's, paring and bread knives first. With that said, there is a place for this knife in your kitchen. As with all of my other Shun knives, this one is extremely sharp and it's relatively light. This is great for sandwiches; you can use one knife to do everything well. I like the wider blade on this better than the narrow utility and tomato blades. This knife does not replace the bread knife, but it is good for small quantities of bread. I quickly tired of it when I used it to prep French bread for bread pudding. This is an expensive, but lifetime investment. I encourage you to visit stores and feel the knives in your hand to make sure you are comfortable with them. For more info on Shun, check out Alton Brown's website. For ratings on various brands and types of knives, check out Cooks llustrated's equipment ratings.Unless you are a daily sandwich fiend, make this one of the last knives you get to complete your set. It is certainly a nice knife, but not as crucial as other knives. My only regret is that I already own the tomato and utility knives.

5Grew from "a mistake" to "my favorite knife"
By Lindy Cheng
The Shun utility knife is an oddball and you will have to give yourself plenty of time to get used to it. It is indeed a sandwich knife - best for cutting bread and vegetables, good for spreading mustard and mayo. The weight is pretty heavy for a knife this size. The blade is thick. Luckily at six inches it is not too heavy for me to use. So what's the competition? I have an ancient set of Chicago Cutlery, the best my long ago student budget could afford. Out of sheer politeness, we must ignore this comparison. Then I have the set of Global knives, worthy of comparison: a paring knife, utility knife and Santuko 7" chef's knife. Great knives, sharp, light knives. It took time but the Shun blew them away. Then the lone finalist in the field - another Shun utility knife, a 6" straight model - light and razor sharp. Nope, the Shun ultimate utility knife wins hands down. It's something about the curved edge and the scallops that gives it the ability to take on everything at just the right angle. No more groping around for another knife because you're switching to another veggie. The wide blade lets you pick up stuff almost like a chef's knife and transfer to a bowl - the scallops do make this tougher than a chef's knife, but hey, I'm lazy. What's awkward about this knife? It's kinda short. Cutting a large watermelon is gonna be a challenge. Cheese - well, none of these knives work with cheese. Any delicate cutting tasks, like dicing olives, is just too awkward because the blade is thick and now the scallops are too big in comparison.I read somewhere at a knife aficionado's website that while the metal of the Global and the Shun are pretty similar, the Shun's are tweaked so the blade can hold the sharper edge. Unfortunately, this also means the metal is slightly more brittle than the Globals. So don't drop your blade.

5Put A Leash On This Knife! Fantastic!
By Michele
I thought I was going to have at least 2 guests at a party try to steal this knife! After getting a gift certificate at a kitchen store I wasn't sure what to get...but knives always grab me. The young lady who helped me kept pointing me to this Shun knife. The folded steel blade really got me and I could bring it back if it was a bust. My husband loves knives as well and does the sharpening. One slice with this knife and I was hooked. Then a friend helped prep a party and she immediately picked it up and used it...and started raving about it without any input from me. Then a second friend arrived to help and grabbed the knife and couldn't believe how good it was.I haven't found anything it doesn't slice well. I'd love a longer version for those bigger bread jobs...though it did 4 loaves of crusty french without a sore hand. Tomatoes don't stand a chance and never lose their shape in the cutting. This knife is worth every penny and I'll buy another Shun knife when I'm ready....the Chicago cutlery is on its way out for sure now...I'm in my 50's and buying my lifetime knives.

Product Description

The Designated Marksman Scope fills the requirements of the law enforcement officer, rifle shooter, and the big game hunter who needs a quick-sighting system at ranges of 5 yards to 500 yards. The "Dot-in-a-Donut" reticle allows for fast, natural aiming. The shooter\ís eye lines up the circle at close range, and the one MOA dot gives accuracy at the longer ranges. Range estimation is straight forward by use of the circle out to 500 yards. Compact design, 30mm tube, fully coated glass and bright illumination of the reticle are just a few of the many features of the DMS-1. Bright red illumination of the reticle adds to the quickness of the sighting system in day and low-light conditions. At 1 power it works well as a reflex sight and at longer ranges the 4X magnification gives increased accuracy. DMS-1 is a concept that is long overdue. This compact, fast CQB to mid-range scope takes the best of scope-type optics and red dot reflex sights and puts it all together. A "Dot-in-a- Donut" is the best way to describe the DMS reticle. At close ranges, just put the donut on the target and pull the trigger. At longer ranges, you have the 1 MOA dot in the center of the donut to give you superior accuracy. As all the measurements are standard MOA, you can use the reticle for range finding and hold over. True 1X with both eyes open for close and quick sighting, and 4X for accuracy at the longer ranges. Works equally well on tactical weapons or big game rifles. Fully multi-coated lenses and rugged one-piece tube are featured. The DMS is also an excellent choice for large, fast moving, dangerous game. Try the DMS and you will see the advantage. The Red Dot SP Series provides the ultimate in fast-sighting capabilities. The brightly illuminated red dot contrasts sharply against the background under bright and low-lighting conditions. The handy dot intensity control switch has eleven settings for quick, fine-tune brightness adjustments. Sighting is crystal clear and parallax free

4Good for the money
By Dave
Seems to be a good scope. I like my Match-dot a little better, but then again I paid more for it too. I mounted this one on my .22 and it seems to work fine. I lost one of my turret covers (my fault) and the company replaced it for free. I do a lot of shooting at the range, so I wish it had a little smaller (2moa) dot, but for the $90. I saved, I can't complain.

5Great Red Dot Sight
By Walter A Bruce
I have this Millet sight mounted on a Ruger Mk III hunter 22LR pistol. It is a great scope. This sight has no parallax which means you can sight with both eyes open and acquire the target quicker. The ability to vary the dot size from a small 3 MOA to a large 10 MOA is the best part. With 11 brightness settings the dot is always visible. On the pistol at normal pistol ranges the larger dot sizes are best for me. The 8 MOA dot would cover an 8 inch circle at 100 yards, but at 25 yards less than 2 inches and is perfect for me. It is very easy to acquire both the target and the red dot. This sight is probably worth the few more dollars it costs over the cheap sights which have parallax. I am very happy with this sight. I still have the original battery in it and always remember to turn it off, but keep spare batteries on hand. Highly recommend this red dot sight.Piedpiper46

Reticle is clear and sharp. I like the adjustable Red Dot, size and brightness. So far the the set up is nice and tight. It does come with a very nice set of Millet mounting rings.
