The Real Thing

One of the great things about Amazon is the abundance of consumer product reviews. One of the poor things about Amazon is the frequent scant product descriptions. I place a lot of value on what the reviews state, which often add the missing details.These are versatile hooks that can attach to a flat bar or wire style rack since the rack attachment end is tapered to an opening of 1/2 inch. The hook end opening is one inch. They are 5 inches in length. The product description does not state what the material is; it merely suggests stainless steel.The ones I recently received are polished stainless steel and are 0.2" in diameter. The quality is excellent.

Universal Pot Hooks

The Cuisinart Universal Pot Rack Hooks are a very well made product. I use them on a "wire" type rack (similar to the middle picture on the product link) and they fit nicely.I also value good product descriptions, and find most lacking in detail. Customer reviews are often helpful in filling in these details. Universal pot rack hooks

As advertised, these hooks can hang just about any pot , skillet or utensil. I purchased a chrome "bakers rack" and wanted to hang some pots and pans on it. These guys do a good job at that task, a ten inch cast iron skillet is no problem for one of these bad boys. The smaller hook fits just as easily over one of the thin rods in the shelf or thicker rod about the perimeter.I first thought them to be pricey for just a bent metal rod.

Beautiful and Value Packed!!!

I came close to purchasing the GP1U's brother, the D62U, for the reason of having all HD formats/resolutions up to 1080p at my disposal. I looked online and found that the gaming model was in stock and on sale at a local retailer so I quickly researched it, took a leap of faith and bought it. The total price for this ended up being less than the D62u's overall price! One thing I love and probably could not live without is this TV's ability to display 1080p content through all of its ports including the component ports. I mounted the stand to the Tv and set it up in about 10 minutes or so. The assembly was very easy and the directions intuitive. I immediately connected a PS3 using older PS2 monster component cables and set the output resolution on the PS3 to 1080p and WOW!The picture on this TV is simply amazing! I downloaded a few 1080p PS3 demos and blu-ray trailers from Playstation Network and watched/ played in total amazement. I dare anyone who gets this TV to watch the Black Hawk Down trailer in 1080p. It's unreal! I also tested out the Vyper Drive gaming interface on the side panel(through component) and it ran very smoothly. There was zero lag. The 6ms response time and 10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio contribute to this quality. I tested all of this with the Motorstorm(720p) and Ninja Gaiden(1080p) demos. Wow!There seems to be a popular misconception that 1080p is not noticably different than 720p on this TV size but I noticed a considerable difference between resolutions. This TV boasts an arsenal of HD ports including 2 components, 3 HDMI, and one DVI in. I get free comcast through the wall at my place and plugged in through the TV's coaxial input and found a few HD channels including all the local feeds. I viewed everything from pro surfing(MOJO), to the NHL playoffs(NBC HD), to the Subway series(Yankees vs Mets - FOX HD) in breathtaking 720p and 1080i formats. The Discovery HD theatre channel looks especially exceptional with its stunning visuals 24/7. HDNET and TNT HD look fantastic as well.I was really fearing what 480i programming from regular TV would look like. To my surprise, it looks great! I still need to do some additional calibration but this TV is nearly good to go out of the box. The black levels look fantastic. The lack of picture-in functionality is my only beef but its nothing major. There are so many positives to this TV.Ok, ok, you get the point. This TV is worth the money and is not to be missed if you have the opportunity to buy it. It has everything you would want - all formats - 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. I don't think I'll ever have the capacity to fill all the ports! I recommend it to anyone who loves to play video games at high resolutions and watch HD movies and TV programming!

Awesome gaming TV

I just got this TV a week ago and use it exclusively for gaming. NOTHING really matches this TV ON PAPER. AFAIK Sharp is the only company who makes 32" 1080p TVs.Before I got this TV, I looked at the competing Samsung and Sony products (720p). Looking at the B&M stores, Samsung is not even close, and Sony Bravia is indeed better...but for a huge price difference!This TV supports XBox 360 1080p over component...but it's not really saying much since only TWO games support full 1080p: Virtua Tennis 3 (which i don't have) and NBA street Homecourt...NBA street homecourt in 1080p has inferior framerate and sound than in 720p. In 720p, though, It really rocks! I can't wait to see more games in 1080p.There is one other slightly cheaper Sharp 32" 1080p (LC-32D62U) but I'm it's not optimized for gaming. I'm not even sure if it can support 1080p over component.So what does it mean when a TV is "optimized for gaming?" it just means that the TV isn't doing post-processing of the signal to make it better...think of it as pass-through. therefore, no lag.Oh, and the built-in speakers? I'm not gonna lie: it's like listening on those tin-can toy phones. These TVs aren't built for mind-blowing sound anyway. Get one of those Klipsch 2.1 PC speakers and you're in business.With all that said, IF you are going to use this TV mostly for watching DVDs/SDTV and not for gaming, save your money and get the non-gaming edition or even the 720p models. Otherwise, for the hardcore gaming freaks sitting about 3 feet from the TV, it can't get better than this at a reasonable pricepoint!

Simple and solid table!

This product is worth the money if you need a heavy, virtually bomb-proof camp table that does not wobble (why have any other kind?). Simple to assemble/disassemble and well supports my Camp Chef oven with room for a table top bbq too. I do not have money to throw towards junk of any kind, and this table meets my demanding quality vs. price standards!

Mounting problem solved!

As stated in a previous review, this rack has to be mounted directly into the wall studs. Unfortunately, the limited space in my small kitchen and the location that I wanted to mount the shelf did not allow for mounting the shelf directly into wall studs. The solution.....I attached a 24" X 36" piece of 3/4" birch plywood into the studs using eight 3" drywall screws (it's a good idea to countersink the screws into the plywood). To the plywood, I laminated a 24" X 36" stainless steel backsplash (available at Lowes or Home Depot for about 30 bucks) with liquid nails and four screws (holes are pre-drilled on each corner). I could then mount the bookshelf rack into the plywood/stainless steel backsplash without having to worry about mounting the unit into studs. You can also add some trim around the edges of the plywood/stainless to hide the plywood edges. My Cuisinart Mult-Clad Pro cookware looks great displayed from this rack. The mount is rock solid.If this solution exceeds your carpentry skills, I would recommend hiring a handyman to complete the job. It should take no more than one hour to complete the mounting. I would also recommend going to the hardware store and purchasing four American-made lag bolts and four stainless steel wood screws (the bolts provided with the shelf are metric and cheaply made). My total investment in the project (not including the shelf) was $39.50 and well worth the additional expense. I would love to include pictures with this review but I keep getting a message that Amazon is experiencing technical difficulties uploading pictures. I will however, keep trying and update this review with pictures. In closing, I would even use this method for mounting if I didn't have issues with the location of the studs. The plywood/backsplash protects the wall from cookware dings and looks great!UPDATE: Finally got a couple of pictures to upload. My my next Amazon purchase will probably be a good digital camera!

Sturdy and well made

Looks very nice with a brushed stainless finish and compliments stainless steel appliances perfectly. Quite heavy. Keep in mind that to mount this unit safely on sheet rock walls that you must screw it into the wall studs. The unit has two mounting holes drilled at 32 inches, which is correct if your builder has spaced the studs properly on 16 inch centers, [ good luck on this if you live in the Atlanta area as we do].The wood screws supplied with this unit are of the cheap import variety and snap easily when torqued down. One of them broke off in the wall , forcing us to drill it out of the wall and replace it with an oversized screw. Save yourself the headache and buy four U.S. made screws and toss the others away before you begin.Lastly, the hook hangers that come with this unit are all of equal length and hang at a bit of an angle. I didn't think that made for the most efficient use of the space available and I got my husband to shorten and bend a couple of them in order to hang pans at varying heights. The hooks are made of heavy gauge stainless steel and are VERY tough to cut and bend. If you wish to do this you'll need a good vice and a strong arm.

Great purchase - easy to install

Very happy. Comes with 12 hooks, so there is not need to get additional pit hangers. Fairly easy to install, and the bolts that came with it worked fine. You will need a drill, a level, and a stud finder to install. No issues so far after three months and multiple compliments from friends!

Good but needs work

This hiding gaff is a step forward from what I had been using. It is simply a thong panty with a strategically place semi-firm panel. This was the easiest gaff to use because there is no adjusting or tuning to be done. Simply put the gaff on, tuck everything down a little and off you go.Unfortunately, this gaff offers the least bulge control of any gaff I've used. The panel helps diffuse the bulge into a larger raised area. With judicious adjustment, this can be sufficient for a long dress, but it is useless for tight, revealing garments. Not to mention, those of us with larger endowment may find things peeking out no matter how much we adjust.It's a good product for the hobby dresser who doesn't like wearing super tight skirts, but for the more serious crossdresser, it just doesn't cut it.Pros:1. Super-easy to use.2. Simple design allows for more versatility.3. Very comfortable in front.Cons:1. Not much hiding capability.2. Panel tends to shift with movement.3. none better, if you can still find it...

I bought this backpack for my university age son, and he is very impressed with it...when I saw the quality of the product, the strength of the fabric, heavy-duty zippers, and, even a hidden rain fly (if you should ever need it), I went looking for the same backpack for my new laptop two years later (which is July of 2010)...my wife has also enjoyed a different sized Targus for a 17 inch laptop, and the quality is superb!

Good laptop bag

I use this as my daily "commuter" bag when I take the train to and from work. I will also use it as a travel bag for the airplane, but I haven't flown since I bought it.The backpack seems to be of good quality, and the laptop sleeve is easy to get the computer in and out of.The rainfly is a nice idea I guess, but I don't envision myself ever really needing it. The waterproof bottom is nice to have, though.Overall, I wish the interior had some more pockets/divisions, but I am very happy with it.

Great Backpack!

It doesn't have as many pockets and storage areas as some of the other backpacks but that's the reason I bought it. I travel a lot for business and needed something that I could easily carry around at airports and meetings. It's not a bulky pack but holds all of the things I need including my laptop, files, and even water bottles. Other great features are the hidden rain cover and waterproof bottom, but best of all the pack looks great!

Misleading and no support.

I bought this product to setup vlans in our office. The wording using Cisco in the text caught my eye and made me more confident making the choice. When I got it, there were problems in the interface that I had called tech support (Linksys not Cisco) about and they confirmed those bugs and said someone will contact me about fixing them. I then had some problems setting up static routing for layer 3 vlans. I called and got the same lady in tech support (in Asia). She said that she really didn't know much about vlans and tried to leave it at that. Vlan support is the only reason someone would spend $1,000 for a switch. Otherwise, you can buy an unmanaged switch for $100. She said that she will have someone at cisco give me a call. I waited for a week and never got a call back on either instance. She told me that I would have to wait patiently. I waited another week. This was nonsense. Finally, a week later I got an email from a guy at Cisco saying that he would call me in another week. Well the window of opportunity was closing fast on being able to return the product and I did not have a week. I emailed him back and waited 3 days for a reponse which I never got so I returned the switch. He finally called 2 weeks later...thanks alot...too little and too late. I ended up buying a hp procurve with complete instructions and it seems to setup fine so far....almost finished.

SGE2000 - great l3 switch - easy to use

I have bought several of these switches and use them both as standalone and stacked switches. Great price, great product, best feature set for price/speed, easy to maintain. The only annoyance is that some of the ones I have bought have to be converted to standalone mode via a modem cable (included).

Excellant but outdated.

A very good managed Power Over Ethernet (POE) switch. Stackable, supports VLANs, and allows individual control of each port (handy if you want to power cycle a POE device remotely). This device has VERY LOUD fans so don't plan on using this in the same room as humans - it really should be in a datacenter. Sadly, the SGE2000P is being discontinued by Cisco.
