The Ankle Glove’s wide neoprene ankle band and Velcro closure offer extended wearing comfort and unmatched security. Additional comfort is provided by sheepskin padding between the holster and ankle. It also features a reinforced thumb break for speed of draw and detailed molding for firearm retention. The Ankle Glove may be worn with or without the optional adjustable calf strap (sold separately). Constructed of premium saddle leather stitched to a neoprene band, the Ankle Glove accommodates ankles up to 13" in circumference. Made for semiautomatic pistols and double-action revolvers, the Ankle Glove is available in right or left hand draw in black finish. Ankle Gloves for small revolvers: Models AG158/AG159 are an open top design, meaning they do not have a safety strap and thumbreak. Instead, they have a tension unit, and work with both hammered and hammerless guns. Models AG160/AG161 have a retention strap (thumb break) that runs behind the grip frame (not behind the hammer). They work with both hammered and hammerless guns, but some guns with factory supplied custom or oversized rubber grips will not fit because the retention strap is not long enough to wrap around them. Works best with slim wood or "boot" grips.

Really works - and very high quality

Seeking a CCW manner to carry my weapon while wearing a winter coat, I turned to this product. I was doubtful. Could an ankle holster really securely hold a near-full size pistol? With a full magazine? Answer: Yes. Very securely.I always thought my SA FBI coworkers were sissies when I saw them carrying their pistols this way. But much better decision than fumbling underneath a heavy winter coat.I am giving this product 4 out of 5 stars only because the holster does loosen as the day goes on. This is not a problem, just need to tighten the velcro. But if there was a way to keep it firm the entire day without adjustment, then it would get the full 5 stars.With regards to custom fit, I can attest that, straight from the package, the holster fit my weapon like a glove -- and draws just fine. No stretching or fit adjustment needed. So don't over-think this decision -- if you are looking for a good way to conceal the weapon, while still having access to it, this may just be the way to achieve your objective. Go for it.

Great ankle carry solution

I recently started a new job where I couldn't Open Carry. Business casual dress code means a button shirt and slacks - no jacket or vest to cover up my Glock 19, which I have done for the last three years. I *prefer* to carry IWB at the 5 o'clock position or open carry at 3 o'clock.I purchased an IWB Deep Concealment Galco Tuck-N-Go Inside The Pant Holster for Glock 23 (Natural, Right-hand) (also from Amazon) and wore it for two weeks. Aside from the gun riding lower than I would like (barrel bulge visible above my back pocket), I decided to try something else because my draw took *FOREVER* (4-5 seconds) from that holster. Gotta lift the outside shirt without lifting my undershirt, which would result in the holster trying to lift out of my pants. Not good.I've been ankle carrying for a month now and I love it. Yes the G19 is heavy. No that doesn't effect how I walk, stand, or sit. I can keep my eye on it so I know it's still concealed. If a co-worker happens to see it, they assume it's an ankle brace. I'm wearing it on the inside of my left ankle. I bike to and from work - no problems there either.Draw is about 2 seconds. It does take some practice, but it is much more manageable than the IWB Tuck holster IMO. I do not kneel to draw, instead I lift my knee and pull the inside of my pants up with my support (left) hand. Thumb break comes off easily when you want it too and holds the gun well when you want it too.Great solution. Many people train themselves to look for a print in the small of your back - most people neglect your ankle. Even with a fairly obvious (to me) print, nobody can tell I'm carrying because they aren't looking in the right spot.Super comfortable, fairly quick draw, great concealment. Highly recommended.

Glock 23 holster

Arrived fast, pretty comfy around the ankle, does slip a little, and sticks out quite a bit, but not bad for the size of gun. if i wear my regular pants you can't tell unless you knew i was carrying. good quality for the money.
