I was about to order this favorite cream, but decided not to since the product description specifies that the tube contains 4.2 oz of cream but the checkout description switches it to 2.5 oz. Buyer beware!

Nurtrix (Lancome)

I am a redhead and have dry skin. Nutrix by Lancome has bee the only product that I can use that does not soak up on my face in 5 minutes. Actually, I even use it under my makeup for day coverage and not just for a night cream. I would like to add that I have tried products even much more expensive than Lancome's Nutrix with NO success. Also, on Amazon.com I can find the same product 4.2 oz for the same cost as they offer in the stores for 3.2 oz. It was only through Amazon.com that I found this product after serching and searching stores that sell it but told me it did NOT come in 4.2 oz. I have purchased 6 times Nutrix from Amazon.com and I now know to ALWAYS check Amazon.com for my product needs! I am not computer savey, but Amazon.com makes it easy to find what you are looking for and purchase it without pulling your hair out!!!!

Great table

I ordered this to use as a side table in my foyer. I was a little worried about the condition the table would be in after shipping (based on the other review) but decided to take a chance because the price is so low. When the table arrived I carefully inspected all of the parts before putting the it together. There is only one small scratch on the surface which was easily covered up with a black sharpie pen. The rest of the table was in flawless condition. It was very easy to set up and now looks great in my house.One thing... the table legs do not have "feet" so the very bottom of the leg is a slightly rough wood surface. Because of this you may want to buy adhesive felt pads to avoid scratching your floor. I was able to find black felt pads at the hardware store. For carpeting you will probably want to get adhesive sliders - same as you would for any furniture that you want to avoid digging into your carpet/flooring.Highly recommended.

scratches and dents

After reading the reviews on this table, I took a chance hoping I would be one of the lucky ones. When I received it I was disappointed that I wasn't. All of the corners were scratched and a chip about one inch long was broken off of one of the corners. One of the underneath corners was cracked all the way through. I did give this a 2 because after taking a permanent marker and filling in the corners and having my husband put in a new piece of wood under the table, the table does look very nice. The cost to ship it back was not worth getting a new one. I will say for the price, this is a nice looking table. You should just be prepared that it may not come in perfect shape.

Just What Was Needed

This is a very specialized drive that was needed for a failed unit in a Hewlett-Packard workstation. It arrived on schedule, was exactly what was advertised, and installed and formatted with no problems at all. It is now happily spinning away and doing its job. Since U320 15K RPM SCSI drives are no longer manufactured, I was fortunate to find it at an Amazon affiliate.

Pretty darn good for the price

I was looking for a good heavy duty vice somewhere between the cheap Chinese HF and the outrageously expensive American made units, and this fit the bill perfectly. Turned out it was made in Tiawan, which is sort of China but I think tends to produce better quality than the mainland. It looks well made, performs just fine and I really like the ability to open a full 7+". I am a very satisfied customer.

If you need a good shop vise, but don't want to spend $$$

For the price, and considering the cost and speed of shipping, it is an excellent product. This vise has much tighter tolerences than the Chinese imports. It's made in Tiawan, not a heavyweight, but it is steel. If you need a heavyweight, get a Wilton, but the cheapest 8" plus shipping will set you back quite a bit more than this vise. It sits between the Chinese stuff and the high quality vises like Wilton. If you have a buget, it's a good product. If you need a HD vise, but want to spend less, forget it & get a Wilton.

Works great on Windows 7

I bought this card because I was having issues with the video on my computer and I wanted to see if the video card was the problem. I had an ATI X1550 for a few years and recently whenever I shutdown the computer, the next time I booted up I would get no video and had to unplug the power supply to get video back. I tried the card in a friend's computer and it worked fine. I thought it was my motherboard, but since I built this computer 7 years ago, none of my components would work on a new motherboard so I essentially would need to build a new computer. I decided to buy an inexpensive AGP video card in hopes of the slim chance that it was the problem and that the motherboard was fine. After lots of research, I found this video card to have the best reviews at a reasonable price, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. My computer works great, and the image quality is excellent. I installed the Windows Vista driver because there was no driver for Windows 7, and it works fine. Also, this card doesn't have a fan like my old one, so my computer is a bit more quiet now.If you're like me and you can't buy a PCI express video card because your motherboard is too old, but you want/need a new AGP card that will work with Windows 7(I'm running 32 bit Professional), then I would definitely recommend this card.

I needed a inexpensive video AGP card for my older Dell Dimension 4550 desktop so that I could upgrade the OS to Microsoft 7. The card worked as advertised and I am now running Windows 7 on my desktop. If you are looking for an inexpensive AGP card, look no further.

Annoying!

Worked fine with standard VGA driver in Shuttle XPC, then dropped to 4-bit minimum res once supplied Nvidia drivers were installed. Tried upgrading to newest drivers from Nvidia site, same result. Tried it in my wife's XPC with the same results. Virtually no documentation, in box or at Sparkle website (though their FAQ mentioned a fix that didn't work, so the problem is known!)Hardware seems OK, so probably an easily fixed software compatibility issue. However, a new piece of 5-year-old technology with a driver issue is inexcusable. I'm too old to keep dealing with this kind of crap...

Capable, and a good deal, but not perfect.

For the price this is a very capable deck.I bought it for the basic CD player with IR remote control, Line level out front and rear, A real knob for volume and iPod control. I was warned that the iPod control would not allow playlist selection but I found that as it says on the box, it does work well selecting playlists. (I'm using a older iPod nano) As with many low cost head units, this has basic functions without all the annoying "features" of more expensive units. It remains to be seen if the CD player will hold up to off road use. My previous $300 Sony and Alpine head units had terribly unreliable CD sections.Pros: Good simple operation, not too many buttons, controls the iPod well even from the wireless remote (with additional $30 cable). Low cost.Cons: Pops when changing input sources and sometimes when changing iPod song selections. This popping may only be on the line level outputs, I have not tested the speaker outputs. Removable faceplate (On a deck this inexpensive, I'd rather it was fixed).Overall, this is a great deal.-Otmar

Stunning addition to dining room

I was attracted to this fixture because of the three 75 watt bulbs, enough to have a room bright for reading, but on a dimmer this delivers a very warm, romantic glow through the bronze hued glass. I have had this up for five months now, and like it more as time goes on. It really looks like a fine, hand-crafted work, far better than the picture would lead one to believe.

Win some, lose some

After reading the June 8, 2007 review, I was worried about the quality of packaging. When this desk arrived at my front door, I saw that my fears were justified. The package was compact, leaving little room for protective material like bubble wrap. Careless handling might have caused some damage. Fortunately, my desk arrived in perfect condition. The legs, desk top, and keyboard tray were all wrapped to protect against scratches.This is one of the few products not made in China. It was made in Thailand.The wrench needed to attach the legs was included, and I used my Phillips screwdriver to screw on the front knob. The magnets are too powerful, making it difficult to pull open the keyboard compartment. I solved that problem by placing four pieces of transparent packing tape over the magnets. All told, including the taping, assembly took me around 40 minutes.The legs, tray and desk top are all made of beautifully finished solid hardwood with a reddish blonde color. The tray slides in and out smoothly. The style is a bit plain and unadorned, but the quality and functionality are excellent. I'm very pleased with this purchase, especially because the modest price of $130 included free shipping.

Great little table.

I bought this desk because I wanted a simple desk that matched the color of my kitchen table. It really is what it is, simple. The design is simple, the assembly is simple. That's not a hit against it because if that's not what you're looking for obviously you wouldn't be looking at this desk.Anyway, there isn't much to say about it, it's put together well, and it's solid after it's assembled.As far as the packaging goes, the other people that have reviewed this are spot on correct. The packaging looks like something you'd get from a table you bought at Wal-Mart. This is fine when all you have to do is run it from the store to your house, but it's really inadequate for cross country shipping. There isn't enough give in the packaging to be very forgiving of any mishandling. Luckily mine showed up just fine, but keep that in mind when you order one of these.

Perfect, really impressed by the quality.

First of all, I put this thing together (in about 30 minutes), and I was totally stunned by how beautiful it was. I mean, really, it looks much more expensive than it is. My roommate came home and was a bit jealous..."Where did you get that?!"I paid only $50 for it, with free shipping. Seems like it's gone up since then, but honestly, I'd paid more now knowing the quality.I use it as a laptop computer desk, as my scanner/printer fits perfectly on the bottom shelf. It can also be used as an entry/foyer table, but understand that there's a bit of an angle at the back of it...meaning it doesn't sit flush against the wall (and it wouldn't sit flush against the back of a sofa if you wanted to use it as a sofa table). For what I need, it's fine, but for smaller foyer spaces, it might not work.Ultimately, I love this table (have had it for almost a year now) and am now searching for other "Winsome Wood" products...

Poor craftsmanship and incorrect parts

The item had a couple obvious defects. There was a small hole on the top board, and a crack running along the edge of the lower board.Also, and maybe I was just assembling it wrong, but after affixing the legs to the top board, the bottom board was too small to fit into the carved notches.

i used this as a table to put below my HDTV and hold my PS3, stereo and cable box. the angle of the legs makes it perfect so that there's space near the wall where the cables can fit. easy to put together and solid feel when constructed.

I work in a federal prison, and bought these gloves so I wouldnt have to constantly be putting on latex ones. They are very rugged, and have held up well, with the exception of a little minor stitching fraying on the fingers.
