Great Cleaning Power, Now Without Chemical Scenting

I've been doing laundry FOREVER -- at least since I moved into a dorm -- and I have tried different detergents over the decades, and I have to say that none of them worked better than Tide. It gets out dirt and most stains very well, although I do occasionally supplement with Shout on the really nasty stuff, like chocolate, blood, and grease.But that's my opinion and because it's not infallible, I took a look at what Consumer Reports had to say. Their conclusions are pretty much in line with my own. They did find one product that cleaned better (I've never even heard of it), but it was nearly twice as expensive and as a consequence I'm not inclined to seek it out wherever it might be hiding.Besides Tide's cleaning power, I find that I also like that it does not have NPEs (Nonylphenol ethoxylates). NPEs are toxic to aquatic plants and animals. A fact even the EPA has had to recognize.Another thing I like is that Tide doesn't fade the color of our clothes: This was a feature I didn't even recognize until I visited my friend this summer and noticed that even after one wash, with whatever bargain brand she was using, our shirts were noticeable faded and fuzzed.As to why scent-free: I started using the low-suds version when we had to buy a new washer and decided to go 'green' in our selection. I soon after went scent-free when I discovered how many scents (lets face it scents are chemicals) were in our daily environment, and how they really weren't good for us. Particularly, those of us with allergies. The laundry seems to get as clean as with the scented variety, and the clothes come out smelling just wet.Four Stars. Been doing laundry for decades and Tide seems to clean better than any other product I've tried. The scentless formula is exactly that. Other than the fact the stains are gone, I can't tell that the laundry is clean: it doesn't have a perfumed smell.

Great Find - Local Stores do not carry this HE Fragrance free!

I am completely Happy about buying this Tide Fragrance Free from Amazon.com. The FREE shipping was a Plus and I used a gift card to purchase my products. The shipping was very fast, I had my Tide within 3 days after hitting the complete order on-line. My local stores carry Tide but not The Fragrance FREE Dermatology tested HE Tide. I found out people USE way to much Liquid soap in their NEW HE Front loading Washing Machines. Their clothes smelled like liquid soap after the clothes were dryed. The new machines use very little water and it is hard to get used to the fact of how much litle HE (High Energy Efficent) laundry Detergent is needed. USE the Manufactures measurements, increasing the amount will not help your clothes get any cleaner. Wasting soap and your clothes will not rinse properly maybe leaving your clothes with a slight smell and funny feel. HE Laundry Detergent is a special product similar to Dry Cleaning products, they permeate the clothes with proper water levels and lift the dirt away. Saving your clothes from harsh detergents and making your clothes more Bright and NOT tearing your fabric down. Trust me, why do YOU spend good money on body fragrance and perfumes not only to SMELL like laundry Detergent on your clothes? This liquid soap will prevent this in-case you forget and use way to much. Most HE machines offer Double-Rinse to help people rinse all the detergent away and eliminate the odor. Not needed if proper amount of liquid detergent is used and trust me, MORE is NOT Better inusing this product!

Great detergent, great price!

I switched to this detergent when my baby boy was born. I looked everywhere and Amazon's price with the Subscribe and Save feature was unbeatable. It has worked great thus far removing stains and leaving clothes clean WITHOUT any perfumes and odors or smells after washing. My Baby's skin seems to agree that this detergent is great as no reactions have occurred, thank God. If you have a high efficiency washer, a new baby or skin sensitivity problems, you might want to try this detergent. It has worked great for me and I recommend it.

Beatiful and detailed

Personally, I think that this is one of my favorite sets (I'm planning on buying the make & create eiffel tower though). That's not just because there's three models to build (whoa!), but because all of the models are well designed and are very detailed. Most of them have movable parts, such as doors, hoods, and mirrors, and their all easy enough to build.WONDERFUL!!!

Great size and operation, just a few very minor complaints

I like this trashcan, my only few complaints would be:- the slightly delayed reaction in opening- the inside "mouth" of the can is smaller than most trashcans as they have to account for the section they put the motor/batteries for the electronic lid, so sometimes food when "dumped and thrown in capriciously" will hit the battery area, and requires a quick wipe so food doesn't get encrusted on there.- my trashbags don't stay in place that well, but it could be b/c i have cheap bags and need to get sturdier ones.- sometimes the lid closes too quickly on me, i.e. when i'm scraping off leftovers, BUT I do like the "keep open" function which I use when I'm cooking so I don't need to keep waving my hand over it and waiting that 1.5 seconds for it to react.For the most part, I like the look and uniqueness and I can deal with the aforementioned complaints just fine and would buy this product again.

Great Toy, but MISSING PIECES!

I got this toy because I had the old MTT, and I really wanted to expand my battle droid army (this set comes with 20 droids!). The set took several hours to make, and afterward the tips of my fingers were sore. This lego set is very durable, most likely because that's what an MTT should be. The only weak spots are where the doors are. My biggest complaint was that, and I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but I was missing 10 PIECES from the set. I checked the entire room, and I am positive that nothing fell on the floor. Also, it was 10 of the same piece, and I highly doubt that 10 of the same lego piece all fell on the floor.The missing pieces were brown 2x2x1 slanted pieces. Luckly I did happen to have 10 of them from other boxes of legos, so the problem was easily solved. However, because my pieces were old, the browns don't match up, so It doesn't look as good as it could have.Great set with 20 droids! But missing many pieces. I still highly suggest it, as long as you have pieces to replace missing ones.

For the Star Wars lego-maniac

My son saved his allowance and earnigns for half a year to get this but I have to state its one of the best in the lego star-wars line. It is fairly advanced design so I would not recommend it for novice lego users but he was absorbed for two solid days putting it together. (Most parents would like that part best :)) After completing it because it comes with more of the actual action figures than most kits he has gotten weeks and weeks of play time having battles across his bedroom floor. So overall though pricey I would give it a thumbs up if you have a lego-maniac in your house too.

Not Your 1980s LEGO Castle

LEGO castles have been produced roughly every other year since the early 1980s and most of them have a trait that this one lacks: a base plate. That being said, I think that LEGO took the Castle series in a new direction with this move. Until this set, LEGO always released their castles on solid base plates with hills and valleys, making the castles seem formidable, while being constructed with less pieces and remaining static in nature. The new 2008 castle leaves the entire base on solid ground with detachable corners and walls and a removable tower, making the entire set far more variable, expanding play and display tremendously.Another error of some castles have been the reuse of the same "generic" castle minifigures, often available in other smaller sets. While this is still the case here, the use of more faces has expanded the available minifig combinations. The inclusion of the red evil dragon also creates a feeling of newness with this castle, while at the same time providing a valid enemy for the castle folk. Four skeletons reinforce this feeling of good vs. evil (hence Castle Siege!).Overall, I think that this is a very nice castle with many opportunities for expansion using other Castle sets and a level of variability not available since the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets castle. I would not consider it an advanced set, but it feels like a nearly complete set. The only criticism I really have is that the courtyard in the center of the castle feels very bare, much like Fort LEGOREDO in the late 1990s. Unlike LEGOREDO, however, there are many accessory sets that can help fill this space, especially the 2008 LEGO Advent Calendar (no longer available). Ultimately, I recommend this set for any fan of the LEGO Castle theme, but if you are seeking a castle like those of the 1980s and 90s, this will probably not satisfy you. This fortress is designed for a new age of LEGO Castles (II)!

My pre teen son absolutely LOVES working with this Lego set. It has allowed him to learn how to follow instructional diagrams and create his own building and fort designs. Although there seem to be a million little pieces, just make sure you have a storage bin for the extra pieces to go in as they make new types of figures. Great toy for the never ending imagination of creating great adventures!!

Great lego for my 6 year old

My son got King's Castle Siege for his 6th birthday and it has been a huge hit. It took him about 3 days to put it all together. He continue to play with it because there are tons of details that are interesting (he got this along with the Skeleton Prison Cage) -- skeletons with swords, knights, dragon, castle secret doors. He uses his action figures to play in the castle, now (Power Rangers, Batman).This is one of the better Lego's he's gotten. He is an avid "Legoer" and has enjoyed the Star Wars legos in the past, and this is a great addition.

Inflatable Kayak

I already owned a Sterns Inflatable Kayak IK95 and thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to find another one just like it and found the Firefly. It is the perfect match. These small inflatable kayaks have all the features that are needed to enjoy a very comfortable, safe, high quality inflatable for recreational use. I live by some very beautiful freshwater ponds and these inflatables aford me wonderful access to all the nooks and crannies of the pond as well as the privacy of a personal water craft which can be used as a vehicle for paddling as well as a float for sunbathing. Besides all that, they are totally portable and can be taken anywhere in the trunk of your car or even can be checked onboard an airplane. I haven't tried it yet, but the firefly's tote bag could even be stored in the overhead compartment on a plane.Advanced Elements FireFly Inflatable Kayak

AWESOME small kayak

this kayak is awesome!!! it is so easy to put together i was shocked. literally a few minutes, if that, to get it inflated. it tracks well in the water and its so light-weight. i could carry this little duffle bag around all day long and not break a sweat [im 5'-5" and 110 lbs with no upper body stregnth] if i can carry it around, just about anyone can. not to mention DURABLE. ive already taken this lil puppy down rivers where i had to go over ROCKS. alot of them! you have fantastic water clearance, you could still paddle in 5 inches of water if need be- i did. it might be nice to have a little more cargo/storage, but i wouldnt really expect it with a kayak this size. love love love it. the epitome of inflatable kayaks: easy, super portable, grab-n-go, lightweight, amazing!

BEST KAYAK I OWN!!!!

Last year we purchased several kayaks for a family trip. We choose different one's for reasons of available, what weight they would support and price. Five different kayaks in all, but this is my favorite it is so comfortable and easy to get in and out of the car, glides through the water beautifully it's just wonderful. I should say we are not using it as a sea kayak so I can't speak to that but if you are looking for a lake, or gentile flowing river kayak you will be very happy with this one.

Simple, durable product

This torch handle is just what the doctor ordered. Having used disposable-tank mounted torches for years, the flexibility of this unit is a welcome addition to my copper shop. There are fine tips for light or delicate work, and they go up to a 1 inch diameter (T-6) for soldering quite large objects and sweating large diameter pipe connections. Combined with a re-fillable propane grill type tank, 24 foot hose (H-24), and appropriate regulator, this torch handle and tip make for a very comfortable to use, flexible and productive tool.I rate it at 6 out of 5 stars!ADT

Great Pump!

Very happy with this pump.Pros:- Quiet: I hear my air pump (which I consider to be very quiet) over the sound of this water pump.- Efficient: I am running this pump at 9' of head pressure and my kill-o-watt shows that it's drawing 155 watts. I believe it is pushing around 2,000 Gallons Per Hour at this head height.- Price: I bought 2 of these a few months ago for $200 each (looks like prices have gone up to $220 as of this review). Even at $220, this is still cheaper than pumps that have similar specs (PondMaster Pro Hy-Drive or Sicce Syncra HF).- No Seals: Unlike direct drive centrifugal (external pumps) you don't have to worry about seals failing with this pump.- Quality: The pump feels and looks to be well made.Cons:- The "fast coupling" attachment is a bit cumbersome to use.- I had a heck of a time trying to get my 1.5" hose onto the barbed fitting.

Using the Laguna Max Flo 4200 and a Laguna Max Flo 2400 for my 300 gallon aquarium with a 125 sump. The aquarium is in my office and the pumps are extremely quiet. I used flexible hose to connect them to the plumbing. No vibration, no sound. At 5' of head, I'm assuming I'm getting 3,000 gph from the 4200.

Trade a Little Convenience for Power

Laguna is a brand in pumps I have worked with for quite some years now. The new "cage" style pumps are indeed nice in regard to handling solid waste appropriately in your pond meaning the pumps do well at not getting clogged up by debris. These pumps are also powerful and use less electricity to move water than most other push pumps do. However, finding the appropriate fittings (such as quick connects) is an inconvenience because one: they are hard to find, and two: it is very difficult to know what "size" you really need for hose size adaptation, etc. once you do locate them. Also, in many applications I have found getting hosing onto the fittings to be a real bear as a lot of heat or Vasoline is needed to complete this tight task! Nevertheless, it's your choice. If you want to try Laguna brand pumps, order them easily and much cheaper through AMAZON.COM. Nowadays you won't find these products at any retail operation.

Great lotion

This lotion is so light, and it makes your skin feel completely wonderful. It has almost a minty feel to it, and it smells great, and feels very good. It moisturizes without making skin greasy. A little expensive, but worth it.

Works great-entry alert OR Dementia/Alzheimers bed alarm

Thank God for this product. Used as bedside alarm for advanced alzheimers patient. Warns me/wakes me up as soon as patients foot goes over side of bed. Now I can finally get some sleep. Reliable, simple to hook up/use. Bought extra speaker for other end of house too. Just plug speaker into wall, plug light sensor into speaker with long thin cord included. If you buy an extra speaker just plug it into the first speaker with xtra cord you can buy cheaper here than at radio shack. Just 1/8" speaker cord. Cheap. Also bought a simple on/off button remote control for lamps or whatever so I can turn it off when not in use ("ACE LAMSON RC7000D INDOOR REMOTE CONTROL" also on amazon.com). Would recommend every dementia/alzheimers bed to have 1 of these running next to it or elsewhere in the home where needed. Also if you dont want to use the included mounting bracket for the reflector you can just scotch tape it up securely like I did months ago. Works great. But you MUST use the mounting bracket for the light sensor to hold it steady. Took a little time to align sensor and reflector but no big deal.

Perfect doorbell chime for large store entryway

We purchased this doorway alert for a wide (>10 ft.) store entryway. After some fiddling with the correct angle to reflect the beam, we have had no problems at all. The doorbell chime is clear and pleasant. It is the typical "ding-dong" sound that you often hear for door alerts. The volume is adjustable. We use it at 3/4 volume and it is more than adequate for our 2000+ sq. ft. space.We chose this item because it included both the chiming / alarm device and the beam. And it is also quite affordable for all you get. We did not like the hit-or-miss nature of motion detector chimes. Every single person going in and out of the store is registered with a chime. We placed the chime at about knee height so as to catch everyone (minus crawlers I suppose). VERY HAPPY WITH OUR PURCHASE! The seller sent everything in a timely manner as well.

Works great!

I'm very pleased with this product. It was easy to set up and works as expected. It's a little tricky to get the reflector to line up exactly and the instructions are a little vague, but once it's set up it works great. Note: You will not see a red indicator light unless the reflector is lined up correctly.
