4Sturdy design
By Brandon Ray
The only complaint I have for this desk lamp is that the only way to turn it on and off is at the bottom of the electric cord. There is no way at the base or the lightbulb to shut it off, so you have to go under the desk to turn the dial that is in the electric cord. If you put the dial on the desk, then all the whole cord is showing because they put the dial at the end of the cord close to where you plug it in. It is a sturdy lamp and a perfect size for my desk. I would suggest using the highest watt because it doesn't put off bright light with a regular night lightbulb.

The area where the glass inserts go are actually plastic. Smaller and cheaper looking in person but works ok in our office

4Good product
By Chunme
I can't see why others have complained about this product. It is well made, easy to install and does the job. I could not find the seperate components for less money with free shipping, well worth a benjamin. For my installation, in the skirt of my 5th wheel trailer, there is a small problem, it is not totally waterproof at the rear, but then it was not designed to be installed in a wet location. A few big globs of Goop fixed the problem and I no longer have to cram the cord into a small box compartment. The instructions were confusing and almost illegible, but if you need instructions for a job like this, get someone else to do it. I would give it 5 stars if it had been waterproof.

3Pricey but did the job even though the adaptor plate didn't fit.
By Richard Rynberg
The conversion kit seems very high in price for what you get. The adaptor plate didn't fit on my Cougar 5th wheel as the existing hole is larger than the kit specifies. Many of the parts were not needed especially the cable clamp which was too big to even fit in the metal box which was in the kit. With a few new holes drilled and plenty of caulk, I did make the kit work though. Having a detachable cord rather than stuffing all of that cold stiff cable into that mouse hole is great. I think you could visit an electrical supply shop and customize your own kit for what you need at a much reduced price.

5ParkPowe 30ARVKIT
By jdii
I found this kit to to be quite simple to use and a direct replacement for my mouse hole. I looked at the instructions from the manufacturer's website first. I priced as many of the separate components as I could find and decided it was not worth the hassle to buy several different parts without gaskets or the most important adapter ring. The kit itself it great. Installantion depends on your mechanical and electrical abilities. Dont forget to use liquid soap or the plug cover will never slide on.

5Great Product
By Conrad B. Senior
I have two of these on my big boat. They have a positive twist lock for the cable and then it thread on for a tight waterproof fit. I wish the stanchions on the dock locked so well.I had no problem with the wiring. It came correctly assembled and both of these have been in continuous use all winter without any issue. One of them has been in service for a year without problems.

4Watch the wiring
By Gary
The plug was exactly what I wanted. BUT, when I hooked the plug up it flipped the breaker. I found that the factory had missed marked the positive and negative poles. The black screw indicates the hot and they had it on the ground side. As soon as I reversed the wires, it worked correctly.

5perfect taboret
By J. Kozel
It was a little pricey but I can tell I'm going to have this for a long, long time. It seems to be a much better investment than the cheaper, plastic taborets. Also, the dimensions are perfect and it's large enough to hold my paints and equipment without crowding my space. The wheels are large enough to roll easily from concrete to carpet.

5Quality
By Michael
This cart is perfect for what I wanted. I use this along side a drafting table for product design. The top shelf allows for easy access to materials, the second shelf allows for good storage for misc. items, and the bottom shelf I use as a rolling reference library shelf of my design essential books. Rolls nicely from room to room and even outdoors. The one drawback is the price. I feel like profit margins may be a bit high for this product, only because the manufacturing process it uses is fairly efficient. Otherwise, great product.Very sturdyEasy rollingEffective dimensions

5Performs excellently- so far
By J. McCarthy
I installed this on a cabin cruiser in the summer of '09. The prior charger was the original on a '89 vintage boat. They've come a long way since then. We take the family out and spend the night at the beach or out at anchor. It is imperative that the batteries are in top condition as getting stuck out on the water is not something I want to experience (again).I've got a dual deep-cycle battery setup, and wanted something to help ensure the batteries would live a long, productive life. I learned the hard way with a prior boat that while the old single stage chargers would indeed charge a battery, they were not good at maintaining a battery and eventually they would fade and have to be replaced (although at some point they'll need replacing regardless, but I'd like that day to be as far off as possible.) For as much as the batteries cost, and the hassle of moving them around, I want a solution that I can plug in and not have to worry about. I also wanted something that maintained each battery separately so that if one had a week cell or something it would not affect the other battery.Installation was easy. I ended up cutting the plug off the power cord and hard-wiring into a junction box to interface with my boats shore power system. Setup consists of connecting to the batteries and then selecting which type of battery each is so that the charger can use the proper algorithm. Very very simple. When I arrive at the dock and with the shore power connected I can quickly see the status of the batteries by the color of the individual LED's. The unit is mounted in the engine compartment and I just lift the lid and take a peek. I do like that this has an optional accessory that plugs in to display the battery status remotely, without having to open the engine compartment, but it's a luxury that's not worth it for me but may be a big help for others. One concern I had when I opened the box was learning about a recharging time limit (this may have changed on newer units so be sure to check). Apparently there is a timer built into the unit that if it stays in the "bulk" charge mode too long it will error out. I'm not real clear on whether it would keep charging at that point or shut down thinking it has a malfunction. Supposedly the recommendation would be to use a higher amperage charger so that it would charge the batteries faster and not have the time out problem. After contemplating this (and really wanting to get it installed that day) I decided that the batteries would generally be charged by the alternator on the boat while returning from that weekends adventure, so that this charger probably wouldn't have to work very hard once it was plugged in at the dock. I'm happy to say I was right, and pleased that I didn't spend more money on the next larger size. But if you are using the charger in a different application where the batteries will be more run-down, then checking the battery size against the charger output would be wise.I'm storing the boat up on blocks for the Minnesota winter. I've decided to leave the batteries connected to the charger, keeping them in "float" mode all winter. This has saved me a ton of hassle by not having to disconnect and lug the batteries out. Unfortunately I won't know for some time if this was really a good idea or not.In summary, I am pleased with this charger and would recommend it to others.

4Good charger so far, cables are short
By Patrick T. Robinson
I put this charger on my 32' sailboat that has two large wet cell deep cycle marine batteries. Installation was straightforward, except the wires between the charger and the batteries are only about 4' long. I had to lengthen these to be able to mount the charger where it would get good cooling air flow, and also be able to see the indicator lights easily. The indicators are nice, except I wish they had picked a different color to show that a "wet cell" battery had been selected. They use a red LED. Red means trouble (normally), so this is a bit misleading. Otherwise the indicator LEDs are nice because they show if you have shore power working, and also the charging status of the batteries. It's nice to know at a glance that your batteries are fully charged.I will update this review as I get more experience with the charger.Pat Robinson11/10/2011 Update. This charger has been installed for over two years now. It has worked without any issues. This is a good charger. I would recommend it.

5Perfect charger
By Mike B
I have a Yamaha 212x with two group 24 batteries with a 1,2,both switch. I was looking for a charger that would monitor and charge each battery independently because naturally one battery on my boating trips will get drained more than another due to sitting in a cove and listening to music for periods of time. This charger fit my need perfectly. Install was a breeze. Monitoring system is great.. Very easy to see each independent battery charging state (charging, trickle).. Product is great.. Now I never have the need to worry about going on a day of boating with one or two dead batteries...

I got this as a gift for my brother-in-law who is a big Bama fan. He was very happy with it upon opening, and he nearly had to fight off the rest of my in-laws to take it home. It is a small lamp that is perfect for a desk area or a small side table. If only it weren't so poorly decorated :) Go Vols!

4Great handsfree, some quirks with music/audio streaming
By Tor Slettnes
I got this from last week, and installed it just a couple of days ago in my 2004 Toyota Sienna, using a custom wiring harness from parrotkits.com. Since cars sold in the US do not typically use the standard ISO connectors that the Parrot kits are made for, such adapters are needed. The installation itself was a little bit of work, but with the harness, relatively straightforward. There was simply no way to go wrong, each connector fit exactly where it needed to. The only trick was to locate suitable spots for the three parts: * The main unit ("blue box"). I attached this in an open area inside the dashboard behind the stereo head unit, using velcro tape. * The microphone, which already came with adhesive tape under the stand. I attached this at the front of the ceiling console, right above the rearview mirror, and ran the wire behind the ceiling cover, through the left A-pillar, and under the dash. It was just long enough to reach the blue box, and none of the wiring is visible. * The controller, which I put on the center console below the temperature controls. There is a little bit of wiring visible here, since I just opened up one of the nearby covers (left of the center console) and ran it under there. As shipped, the wire from the MK6000 controller comes out at the bottom, but if you are willing to drill a hole in your dash, it is also possible to route it through the backside instead. (To do that, you gotta be damn confident that you are going to keep this thing installed... I was not).Once installed, the unit powered on with my car as expected, and everything appeared to be working fine. The first thing that happened was that it muted my car stereo for a second, while commanding me to "Please pair your phone" (or somesuch). I obliged, and my phone (a Nokia N95-4) paired without any problems. It then proceeded to transfer all my phone contacts. So far so good.I tried out a few things to test the unit. I called my voice mail to record a message and play it back - no problem. The car stereo was muted during the call, as expected. I did however run into a couple of serious problems with audio (A2DP) streaming: If you make or take a call while streaming, then hang up, the unit does too. (Although my phone kept streaming, no sound would come through the speakers, and none of the music controls would work). Also, anytime you pause and resume music playback, it stutters (1 second on, 2 seconds off...). The only way to get out of these situations is to turn off and on the ignition - clearly not an option if you are driving. Pretty bad, right? Well, fret not, patient reader: A firmware upgrade fixes these issues. As shipped, version 1.00 was installed, but version 1.03 is available at parrot.com.That brings me to the upgrade process. You must have a computer with both bluetooth hardware and an internet connection located within about 10m (bluetooth reach) of your car. It must be running Windows. Running Windows inside a VM (such as Parallels or VMWare) will not work, since it needs direct access to your bluetooth hardware. It must have a NVIDIA graphics card, and screen resolution must be 1280x960@24bpp. OK, just kidding about that last one - but you get the idea. (Should anyone from Parrot listen, I would have a few nonprintable choice words for them...). Oh, and if you do want voice synthesis (to select contacts in the MK6000 itself), you need the English-only firmware, not the multilingual one.All set up and working, and with a whole 2 days worth of use under my belt, I now proclaim myself an expert on the device and its little quirks. First, what works well:* As a handsfree unit, this thing is the best there is. Since it powers on and connects to your phone when you start your car, there is no fuss - just push the green button to mute the car stereo and make or take a call, precisely as if you had a factory or aftermarket stereo with built-in bluetooth support. Where I was most impressed, though, was with the voice pickup/sound quality. Driving at about 50mph and talking to my wife, she reported just clear voice, no noise. She was also able to hear my 3-year old in the back seat, talking softly to her, as if she were in the car with us. It certainly beats some of the other handsfree units I tried, even the otherwise decent Motorola T505. (I still doubt it would measure up to a regular wired headset, but I have not done that comparison yet).* Audio streaming from my cell phone (e.g. music player, internet radio application, etc) works as expected: The car audio mutes. This was to me the biggest selling point of this device over a bluetooth-enabled stereo unit, since I could start streaming from my cell phone without having to manually switch inputs first, and since - I thought - I could then keep listening to the car radio while using the GPS features (voice navigation) on my cell phone, and automatically interrupt the stereo whenever an instruction was given. In retrospect, manually switching the input would probably have been better - see below.* Handsfree volume and audio streaming volume are independently controlled. Also, each is separate from the phone's own volume control; they are cumulative.* Your phonebook is synchronized with this unit each time you start your car. This allows you to use the MK6000 to scroll through your contacts using the center wheel: The first push gives you the phonebook, a confirmational second push reads out the letter "A", and a third push reads out your first contact whose name starts with "A". At each step, you can rotate the wheel for the remaining choices. There is also a voice recognition feature in this unit, but I have not familiarized myself with that, as I just invoke my phone's voice command prompt by pressing the green (call) button. Now I promised you some quirks, didn't I? I often find that to be the most useful part of user reviews. Here goes:* There is a 1-2 second delay from when the phone initiates audio streaming over A2DP and the MK6000 mutes the stereo until the sound is heard through the speakers. While this may not be noticable when playing music or streaming general audio, it is actually quite annoying for me: I also use my phone as my GPS navigation unit (by way of Nokia Maps), and the result of this quirk is that the beginning of each instruction is chopped off. I tried pushing the play/pause button twice as a workaround (to play, then pause the music player, to keep the MK6000 switched to the bluetooth input), but after the following instruction, the MK6000 switches back to the car stereo nonetheless. My other workaround is to simply push the "4" key on my phone keypad to repeat the instruction if I really need it, and/or to just look at the display.* There is also a 1-2 second delay after streaming has ended until the MK6000 switches back to the car stereo. Normally this should not be an issue - but the result is that any time a notification is displayed on my phone (e.g. when I dock it in my Brodit cradle and it starts charging, or when the battery is full, etc), the car stereo is muted for a couple of seconds. And since I mostly listen to NPR, this mostly happens while they are making an interesting point about something... :-(* Likewise, there is a 2-3 second timeout while the MK6000 plays some silly fanfare once it has connected to your cell phone, about 10-15 seconds after starting your car.* Since the MK6000 controls its own volume, none of the steering wheel controls do anything. (I find myself trying to use those to raise/lower music or call volume, which of course just works on the car stereo instead). Oh well, as I said, I've had it installed for 2 days - I'll get used to it.* Similarly, you cannot adjust other audio settings (bass/treble/equalizer, balance, fade...), and quite frankly, the MK6000 frequency response is a little "cave"-like. (I usually turn treble to full and bass a little higher than medium to compensate for such an effect).FWIW, I also looked at the Motorola T605 briefly before buying this one, believing that they had similar feature sets. Not so: For the T605 to stream audio over your car speakers, it requires an auxillary input and a mute line in your stereo head unit, and as such, is not going to automatically mute most factory units. However, since I am still within my return period, I am contemplating replacing this unit with an aftermarket stereo. Part of the challenge is to find someting that (a) has decent handsfree quality/voice pickup (i.e. microphone NOT integrated into the deck itself, which rules out Sony), (b) has decent mapping to the Toyota steering wheel controls (either directly or with adapters such as the SWI line from Pacific Audio), and (c) does not look too gaudy with oversaturated colors, blinking lights, animations, etc.. That narrows the field considerably. My short list includes the Pioneer DEH-P7000BT (though with the SWI-PS adapter, my up/down buttons would probably seek in tuner mode, not select previous/next preset), and any of several Kenwood head units with the KCA-BT200 bluetooth module (though reviews have the handsfree voice quality at "so, so"). So in the end, despite the quirks, it looks like I'll be keeping the MK6000... :)

Pressure Pointer - Foot Powered Self Massage Trigger Point Therapy Tool Product Description:

  • Foot Power allows the user to apply firm pressure for extended periods of time while completey relaxing the target muscles.
  • Push-button locking pin adjusts length easily to fit different users and collapses down for easy storage.
  • Four interchangeable heads provide a wide variety of treatment options.
  • New! Now the Pressure comes with two non-rolling, rubber (Latex Free) heads that are softer, but still penetrate deep when necessary.
  • 'Super Wet' black powder coat for a beautiful, durable finish.

Product Description

The Pressure Pointer was developed after using a hand powered design to treat a sore shoulder. Hand powered designs for self applied therapy demonstrate the effectiveness of a cane shaped device to help relieve pain, but with hand powered designs the user is forced to exert the muscles that are being treated, defeating the purpose. Foot power allows the user to apply soft to hard pressure for extended periods of time while completely relaxing the target muscles.
Being able to relax the target muscles and apply firm pressure for extended periods of time is one advantage of foot power over hand power to self-treat back pain. The more significant advantage of using foot power to apply pressure is when the user performs stretching and range of motion exercises while applying pressure, which cannot be done with a hand powered design. Pressure while stretching is a common technique used by therapists from massage to chiropractic, only a foot operated device allows a person to perform this type of therapy on themselves.
The Pressure Pointer is made from aircraft grade aluminum, so it is light and flexible, but very strong and durable. We offer immediate shipping with only two day delivery and the best customer service available if you have any questions. Only the Pressure Pointer comes with four interchangeable heads that allow for a broad, rolling therapy for acute pain down to the "Finger" that is only ½" round so it can penetrate to the deepest muscle(for those that can handle it). There is also one medium rolling head and one medium fixed head for most users. The rolling heads are made from natural stained birch wood, the rubber heads are made from 60A durometer rubber (Latex Free) to mimic firm human touch. The included manual shows step-by-step instructions to get you started on the path to self treatment of your back pain. We offer a 30 day, hassle free return policy and a one year warranty. 5Great improvement over Theracane
By Lance A.
I have been using a Theracane and several knockoffs (Back Buddy, etc.) for several years to work on trigger points in my shoulders and upper back. I love them because they are extremely effective, and even help prevent headaches I sometimes get when my shoulder muscles are very tight. But the Pressure Pointer has replaced them all for me. It is so much more pleasant to use because my arms do not get sore. I don't agree with the criticisms of other reviewers. I am very tall (6-6), and it adjusts very comfortably for me. The original Theracane, by contrast, is so small that it requires putting my arms in an awkward position to use it properly. Also, the construction is very light weight, which I actually appreciate because that makes it more comfortable to use, even if it might make it a bit more fragile. I'm not sure how the other folks broke things on this -- I'm not using this for pole vaulting, but for putting pressure on rather sensitive tissue. It is also quite a bit more versatile, because I can reach more areas. Perhaps because it is not as fatiguing, I am more inclined to explore for more trigger points that might be causing referred pain. I highly recommend this product. The only real drawback compared to the hand-held versions is that it is larger and therefore slightly harder to store. Since I use mine every day, it just ends up stretched across the couch, which is a bit ugly. But so worth it!

5Best Therapy Aid EVER!
By Witchy Woman Wendy or Heathen Guy Ken
I bought this product from the manufacturer a few years ago, and I absolutely love it. It's the only thing (besides a good massage therapist) that can work out the knots in my back muscles. If it weren't for the Pressure Pointer, the knotted muscles in my back would get so bad I wouldn't be able to move my neck and arm! The fact that leg strength is used instead of arms, makes this a perfect tool for me. Using my arms would cause more spasms in my upper back and neck. The construction is extremely sturdy, and I've had no problems with the Pressure Pointer, even though I have to use a great deal of leg power on it to work out the knots. There are three different, interchangeable working ends for you to use on those muscle knots, trigger points or wherever it hurts. I tried using the wooden balls to roll out muscle knots, but found better results from just pressing against the area instead. It kind of breaks up the knotted muscle. The tubular aluminum construction is strong, sturdy and adjustable for different heights. The Pressure Pointer is worth it's weight in gold to me!Their website is also very helpful: [...]Witchy Woman Wendy

My 10 year old was disappointed when they did not have his size at the shoe store ... I promised him we would look on amazon - not only was he happy to find they had his size on amazon, but we got it for 1/2 the price suggested at the store so I am happy too!!

5Great shoe
By A. Gulbis
Great shoe for a toddler. Very versatile and can be worn with almost anything. The only downside is that they need to be tied.

5Great shoe!
By Momof2
My son love these sneakers. The laces are a little long, but that is an easy fix. That look adorable on him and are take a beating from a five year old really well.
