Great Router

Tried several routers till I found this one. Works great! I have it in my basement and it has no problem getting to a masonary constructed out building about 100 feet away. Don't think they make this model any more, it's a shame. A friend tried their newest model and it dosen't even come close in signal strength.

High-End Brush For Extreme Pampering

*****This is a high-end luxury brush that truly delivers.There are two things you need to know when you're ready to buy a Mason Pearson brush of any sort. One is the size: full-size (the largest size), handy (medium sized), or pocket (the smallest size). This is important not so much because of where the brush will be kept (say, in your handbag), but because of the bristle length of the various sizes. The smaller sizes have shorter bristles. The bristles have to be able to reach your scalp, and massage it and distribute the oils throughout your hair. If you want a small brush but you have thick or long hair, you'd do better with a larger size.The other consideration is the bristle type. Do you want all nylon, like this Detangler? Even though the Detangler is all nylon, some of the bristles are longer and some are shorter, just like the mixed bristle brush. It's hard to see in the picture. You should know that the Detangler is the only Mason Pearson brush that can reach the scalp of extremely thick hair. All of the larger Mason Pearson brushes, including this one, come with a bristle brush, so that you can easily clean loose hairs out of your brush.The Detangler is a brush just like the other brushes, not something just to be used when your hair is tangled or your done shampooing. It is a fantastic brush for people with coarse hair or long hair or thick hair also. Even though my hair is very short, it is the only brush that works for me because my hair is so thick. This handy size is about eight inches long.It's quite a large expense to buy any Mason Pearson product compared to other manufacturers of hair care items--it's a luxury item and the purchase is an investment--but it's worth it. Great kit for the price.

This is a great bug-out bag for the price. There are cheaper ones that are missing some tools, and more expensive ones that have more elaborate setups, but this bag is more than enough for 72 hours, with plenty of room in the bag for extra water, extra food, more first aid kit stuff, additional tools, stronger-than-mylar blankets, or a small tarp. The included radio, swiss-army like knife, whistle, wind-up flashlight, n95 masks are all great little tools to have in a bag like this. Are they high quality versions of their respective categories? heck no, but....at least it's all there. You can always replace things if and when you get higher quality items. I replaced the fake swiss army like knife (which is a perfectly good knife) with a leatherman, and it's questionable whether you will ever need a dinky little radio, but you never know.All in all, if you don't want to think about it, and just want to get bug-out bags for your car or your home, this is a pretty good bag.Funny....in Japan, every bug-out bag comes with a helmet, hehe. Some even include crow-bars.

great quality knife for the money!

I bought one of these knives about 2 years ago and used it all the time. It is laminated metal for strength and sharpness. The Scandi grind on it is sharp and easy to re-sharpen. I pulled it right out of the shipping package and was able to shave hair with it. It keeps an edge pretty decent. I have used it for everything from the standard knife uses to making figure 4 dead falls, and other traps. It easily cuts through a finger sized stick in one swipe. I was recently robbed and the knife is something that was taken. I liked it well enough that I bought a second one. A great knife at a great price.

Excellent value and knife

If you're interested in some big black tactical knife look elsewhere. If you want an affordable, well made outdoors (camping/hunting)knife this is an excellent choice. It's made in Norway and has most of the Scandinavian style knife elements- razor sharp Scandinavian grind on the laminated blade, large wooden handle, no guard. It has been well reviewed in most knife circles, and has a good reputation as a bush knife. I love the large handle- it's big and comfortable making it easy to work with over long periods with no slipping. The blade is razor sharp out of the box and the scandi grind makes it easy to sharpen. It has a fitted leather sheath that is starts a bit tight but breaks in after time. Even after breaking it in, the knife is secure in the sheath. It's very unobtrusive in its sheath which can be a good thing depending where you are. I highly recommend it.

Sharpest knife I've ever seen - amazing

It has a laminated blade, and the sharp material is sandwiched between other layers of stainless. I've had it around for months and never had the opportunity to use it, but last weekend on a hunting trip I decided to carry this knife because it is lighter and has a shorter sheath than my regular knife so it didn't bang things when I'm up in the tree stand trying to be quiet.I cannot adequately express how sharp this thing is. Sharper than razor sharp, and it is also very light weight. I swear, you just touch this thing against something and it is cut. I didn't get an opportunity to skin a deer with it yet, but I did have to trim some branches and cut some para-cord and fishing line, and it performed so nicely that I felt compelled to look back through 9 months of Amazon purchases to find it and give it this raving review (and I'm not much of a raving review king of person).On the negative side, it is not a "survival" knife which is what I mostly carry when I'm in the back country - I mean, you can't chop wood with it or use it as a pry bar, or use it as a hammer to break out an airplane window, but if you need to cut something, this thing will do the trick as well as any knife I've ever held. It also doesn't have a full tang the way I like - where the shaft of the knife continues full size through the handle and is sandwiched between two pieces of handle material. Instead, it has a slender shaft of metal that goes up through the wood handle and is secured at the butt of the knife.It's not a hammer or an axe or a pry bar, but it is a very nice knife that is sharper than any I've ever held, and the way the laminated blade is made, I expect it will retain an edge better than most.

The Perfect Brush

This is the perfect brush. It's not too hard and not too soft. And it's the perfect compact size, fitting into a purse. I have one in each of three bathrooms, I keep one in the kitchen (I guess that's gross, but I have to catch my daughter wherever she is to brush her hair), one in the car, and now I'm buying one for my purse. I even bought these as a gift for my nieces one XMAS (back when they were less expensive.)

Good product, difficult to install and performance is OK

Does this really stop better than my previous old v-brakes? I think the Avid SL lever was probably a better buy and much greater positive return feel for improvement than this v-brake component. It's OK, and works none the less. I just don't know if it is worth the money because I feel that my previous brake pads seemed to be close to the quality of these but at 5x the lesser cost. I suppose the ball-bearing is nice, but maybe a little over rated. 4 star for performance, taking 1 star off due to price.

Upgraded to Avid Ultimate from the stock Avid SD 5 that came with my bike. Less play and the centering of the brake is more consistent, probably because this break set uses ball bearing. It has few other tricks such as the ability to feed the cable from right or left side and being able to disengage it without having to remove the rubber seal.I am using it with Kool Stop inserts. Did not like much the stock Avid pads.

This is a great product!

I have been trying to use mostly sulfate free shampoos for over a year because it is really so much gentler on your hair. This shampoo was initially recommended to me by my hairdresser because I was looking for a sulfate free shampoo that you get a decent lather from. This does the trick and somehow, it is seems to clean better and feel better than the L'oreal sulfate free ones from the drug store (although they are much cheaper). This large bottle lasts a long time and I'm hooked on this shampoo for now. It's awesome, my hair feels great and it does lather. It's not very very foamy, but the lather is pretty good. Highly recommend!

Lanza Healing Color Care is the best shampoo I have ever used since I started coloring my hair. It does two things extremely well:1. It keeps my color true whether I am going brown or red. Not all parts included

I never had a chance to put this product into use. It was shipped in a box that is essentially open, allowing spacers and/or small cogs to fall out. I ordered this cassette twice and once it was missing a cog and the other time it was missing a spacer. As said by another reviewer, do not order this if you want ALL of the parts.

Great if you only want some of the parts

This cassette is packaged in a box with a nice big display hole in it - so you can see the gears. Unfortunately, the display hole is bigger than the small gears or the spacer that you MUST have if you want this to work.There is a little piece of plastic that is meant to hold the cassette together during shipping. Unfortunately it doesn't work very well.So, what I got after ordering this (and replacing it) is most of a 9 speed cassette. In one case, it was only missing the spacer. In the other case I got 8 gears, no spacer, and no lock nut.It's fine to make a box that looks nice - but make sure it actually holds all the parts inside.

Well escape ladder a good deal

I needed a window well escape ladder fast to get a certificate of occupancy. Local home builder stores carried nothing, or nothing very useful. Builder stores were not nearby and the ladders were expensive. This ladder is good quality and was installed easily. And not only was it was delivered fast, I saved a lot of money.

iJuke and Crosley: Beauty is only skin deep

I selected this item at no cost to myself as part of an employee award program mainly for entertainment value for the kids. It is a very fun item with the flashing lights, bubbling neon looking lights and mini jukebox shape, so keep in mind this item is only for the light and young at heart. It adds fun to a small room quite well which is what it is supposed to do, so I guess it's a success.Where I disagree with the first two reviewers is regarding the sound quality. It has one four-inch full range paper speaker for each channel and the sound reflects this basic cheapness. Of course if has no bass at all and with an external power supply providing only 14 volts and 2 amps, bass is not possible. The lack of bass I can understand but the lack of crisp highs and any sort of detail I cannot. The sound is below the standard of most computer speakers. The sound cannot come close even to $100 iPod docking stations. For a street selling price of $200 I would have expected better. You have to try to mess up digital sound, the iJuke has done just that and it's clear from the cheap old-school speakers that not even Crosley intended the iJuke to be a music device. My kids love it anyway because it's fun. I'm bitter that I have no reason to listen to it.The unit is lightly and cheaply made and I give the remote 6 months of use before it stops working.The second item is, my unit broke within 30 days of new. One of the tubes pulled out of the bubblers in plain sight on the front panel and stopped working. Crosley has not responded to my requests for a return authorization number, neither by phone or by e-mail as the website says will happen.So in my opinion be aware you are shelling out $200 for a low quality toy if you buy this item. If you have money to burn, don't expect sound on par with docking stations half the price, or don't expect anything more than infrequent bursts of entertainment for the kids then it's an OK purchase.ADDITIONAL experience a few months laterWe recieved a replacement unit a few months later, but not through Crosley as they were unresponsive. I managed to get my company awards program vendor to take the old one back and supply a new one because this is a fun item for the kids.The new one failed within just days. We were eating dinner while this was on and there was a sharp CRACK! and when we went over to look at the unit, one of the bubbler tubes had cracked, no more bubbles and the fluid weeped out. That one was returned as well.Since having this unit I have purchased one of the Logitech Squeezebox radios and the difference in sound is just night and day, Bose would be happy to have sound like the Logitech produces. This Crosley has such bad sound and such poor quality a fitting nickname would be the iJunk.

Got this recently and it's such a fun stereo! It charges the iPod while playing and comes with a remote that can be stored in the back of the jukebox. It looks great and you can turn the lights/bubbles on or off while playing music. It is really a mini jukebox! Also can attach additional speakers if you want a surround sound experience. Great quality sound and it's small enough to fit on a table or take with you on a trip or in a RV. You can also hook up other mp3 or cd players to this device. I'm really happy with the quality and over all look of it. You can't beat a Crosley!

I love this jukebox. Well worth the price. It's got surprisingly powerful little speakers in it, and it's beautiful to look at.
