Allowed me to upgrade to a 64 bit system and install windows 8. I now get a full 8 gigs used instead of the 3.25 before these and 32 bit.

I have a 4 yr old 'barebones' desktop that only has two memory slots. It came with two 1gb memory cards, and up till now that was great. But the last update from Microsoft did something that upped my memory usage to the point that I needed more RAM. So I doubled my memory by replacing the two 1 gig cards with these. Popped right in, started right up, and all the memory I needed. I have been doing this for a living with PCs since the first IBM PC, and have never had a problem with Kingston memory. When I need memory, Kingston is the only place I go.
