Great little projector, fabulous customer service

I'd been contemplating buying a projector for watching movies at home for quite some time. Now I wonder why I waited so long! The picture quality is amazing even without a screen--I just project the image onto a white wall in a dark room and get an incredibly clear six foot wide picture. The only drawbacks seem to be the same as those for any projector (some heat and noise, a need for low/no ambient light, and eventual projector bulb death).Optoma also has surprisingly good customer service. Shortly after an OS reinstall on my laptop I was having some trouble getting it to work with the projector, until I emailed Optoma (not expecting much help, more as a preliminary in case I had to return the projector). The response was prompt, intelligible, and actually solved my problem. I can't remember the last time I got such competent technical support. Now if only they made computers too....

Great Projector

I am so very happy I bought this projector. At first I was dubious as to being satisfied with its performance at my presentations seeing there is no audio but I cleared that by using external speakers. The projector is light for easy movement and the pictures are clear and sharp. The set up is as easy as ABC.
