sleeping pain free

my husband and I recently bought a ultra firm stearns and foster mattress. I wanted the ultrafirm for my back and also so the mattress would last a while. The first night I slept on it I had left hip pain (have never had this pain before). I tried a 2 inch memory foam topper...it did not help my hip pain and it was hot and smelly. I read lots of recommendations about latex toppers and really didn't want to spend that much, but since this company had the guarantee I figured it was worth a shot. I absolutely love our bed now...no more hip pain! plus i like the feel of latex...you don't sink down...it feels supportive and soft at the same time. It does smell like latex when you open it up, so you may want to air it out..I didn't air it out as my hip was hurting so just put it on the bed, the smell was gone in 1 day. highly recommend this product.

We purchased this queen 2" 100 percent natural latex topper after my girlfriend was made sick my a LinenSpa memory foam topper which was aired out well (but clearly not well enough). We just acquired a high end firm mattress, and due to side-sleeping habits we needed to add some supportive cushion to the bed. Compared to our memory foam experience, we couldn't be much happier (only wish the latex was not twice the cost). Compared to 4lb memory foam, this dunlop process natural latex foam is just as supportive, much less stinky, non-toxic, and much much COOLER to sleep on. I can now tolerate the amount of bedding my girlfriend prefers on the bed because the latex breaths so well. From my experience, sleeping on latex foam is much cooler than sleeping on a typical mattress which is a huge benefit for me, but perhaps not for everybody (girlfriend has no complaints about this, we will see come winter). There is a slight latex smell out of the box which dissipates nearly completely after a couple days. The smell is identical to a latex glove. After a week, it is not noticeable under the sheets. I've read that latex foam should outlast viscoelastic urethane foams by many years, so we hope that this product lives up to the capabilities of latex as this will really help justify the $235 price tag ten years down the road (as well as the fact we are not breathing in petrol-based aromatic VOCs at night). Because this product is made from actual trees, the price is unlikely to fall in the future (synthetic foams have been getting cheaper every year, but that may change soon too).Pros:-Extremely cool-Very supportive-Not "jiggly" like heavier latex foam-Extraordinarily comfortable-Should last a decade or more from what I've read about latex bed materials-Completely non-toxic, but you probably should avoid it if you are allergic to latex proteins-Properly sized for a 60x80 queenCons:-Expensive (relatively)-Some latex odor, but dissipates fast-Is cut from a roll of foam, not custom formed for your bed. No effect on functionality, but it looks a bit home-made without a cover (buy a cover to protect it!)Notes:-Be sure to buy a mattress cover that can handle the extra 2" of loft. This foam needs protection from movement/friction/abrasion to last forever and it doesn't come with a cover.

Purchased a new Beautyrest Black Cushion Firm mattress, but it was too firm for me. The medium soft latex topper gave me the perfect amount of cushion while preserving the firm characteristics of the mattress. I sleep on my side and the medium soft has just the righ amount of give to sink your shoulders into the mattress while supporting the rest of your body
