Cash Register

It does what I needed it too. It does not use more ink and tape by printing out departments that had no sales or that I do not even use. I get frustrated with the tape take up wheel. It can be a "royal" pain to change the tape spool and get it threaded when it is busy.

This is the 3rd cash register we have had over the years for our small business. It works well, and is inexpensive enough that when it needs to be replaced, it's not a big concern.

Royal Cash Register

I was happy with the register itself. HOWEVER, when I ordered it I did so with the understanding it had a battery operation option as well as a plugged in option for powering it. It instead only has a battery back up in it for date/time and such. I was hoping to not have to use power to run it.Also still trying to figure out how to program some things into it. It will probably work fine for my farm shop once I figure out all the programing. Because of the power issue I am only able to have it in one spot in my shop.
