I believe that this is an add-on: Wedgewood itself doesn't make this item; instead a smaller company takes new, genuine Wedgewood plates, and makes a tea-service from the plates.The item is well-packed (shipping fine china isn't for everyone) and the tray itself well-constructed.You may have to be patient waiting for the order to ship, but once it has shipped it is delivered quickly.We're very happy to have this item; the price is good, the item is high-quality and this is an item we've wanted but couldn't get otherwise. It was money very well spent.
