King Kooker CS29 30-Inch Two-Burner Outdoor Cook StoveAfter a "whole-lota" research, I kept coming back to this one. I did not purchase this unit for camping, my main purpose was for high heat capability, for "Chinese wok" cooking. Mission accomplished! This thing really produces the necessary BTU's needed for any recipe that even a commercial kitchen has to produce & does it in a controlled, simple & direct manner. I've also found the unit to be built like a tank & very easy to control,(temperature wise)... I will admit that price was a contributing factor... but not before the fact that it has the power capacity of 54,000 BTU's per burner...(as the product description states)... I've had it for almost two months at the time of this review, and have done a dozen or more cooks on it, some of which I utilized my cast iron equipment (Griddle, Dutch Oven, Skillets,...ETC.) I am a self-proclaimed armature Chef, and that comes with some very messy cooking sessions & I can tell you that my wife is very happy to see more of my cooking being done on my dedicated BBQ deck, (smokers, charcoal grill, gasser, & now this stove.) out back in the corner of the yard, instead of in the kitchen... Assembly and hook up was a breeze. It is also portable enough to move to the garage in inclement weather. The unit seems to be very fuel efficient, I have a fuel gauge on my standard 20lb propane tank and it is still reading in the green zone, after (I'm guessing),5 to 6 hrs. of cooking time (possibly still close to 2/3's full) ...only to give an idea of fuel consumption. I am always concerned with buyer's remorse after an on line purchase, But None here.

Not nearly as powerful as advertised

I ordered this stove because it advertised dual 54,000 BTU burners. The flames coming out was strong but nowhere near as strong as advertised (maybe they meant 54,000 BTU between the two burners). The fire would also occasionally be extinguished if there was a little gust of wind.Overall I was very disappointed and returned the item. I bought a 3-burners stove at Costco ($160) with each burner at 30,000 BTU and it felt so much stronger than this King Kooker.I would not recommend this especially if you can buy the costco burner (which is feels much sturdier too).

This is a great setup for Homebrewers. Brings 7 gallons up to boil FAST, faster, quieter, and cleaner burning than Bayou burner from Home Depot. Could easily handle larger volumes (keep in mind the size of the cooking area) as far as BTU and structure strength. It does come with a 5PSI regulator, but that doesn't seem to slow the flow of gas too much.Flaws: Nuts and bolts for assembly are very cheap and should be replaced for a few dollars. Some were missing because of cheap packaging.One modification I plan on is to make a metal cover to protect the needle valves from boil over, allowing access to turn the burners down during boil over since it gets there so quickly. I have had to use a long spoon to adjust the valves because of the hot liquid flowing directly over the adjusting valve. I highly recommend this burner setup.
