I have used Jensen products quite a bit over the last 20 years as well as many (and I do mean many) other name brand car audio products. I have always been very pleased with Jensen amplifiers (aka. Audiovox). This amp has exceeded my expectations phenominally. By my calculations, using only a half farad capacitor to maintain a better supply of power during high current draw situations in music, I am keeping a pretty steady 14.4V at positive input to the amplifier giving me a general peak power output of approximately 850 watts. I am pushing two 12 inch old school rockford fosgate DVC's wired @ a 2 Ohm load. Let me tell ya, it is quite impressive even to an experienced car audio enthusiast and 14 year nightclub DJ. This is way more than I need for my current car but push it to the max on almost all the places I drive. My next vehicle I set up sound for, I plan on using 2 of the higher output models of this amp to push 4 DVC 12's. And for the price,......I guarantee I will smoke anyone in the same class or at least keep up with competitors of higher end model and brands. Worth every penny and then some! Can't wait to buld my next system and be more customized with my install rather than just using pre-made boxes. Will do all of my own custom fit boxes and amp showcases and be proud to show the use of the Jensen brand! :)

Bought this for my son's car to drive this sub:[...]This thing was LOUD. I could literally hear my son's car from two blocks away.It ran with no problems ever. We even did a bad wiring job once (after working on the car too long) where sparks jumped off the amp and it kept on kicking.It looks good and works good and would buy again.This amp was also running with this Jensen:[...]That powered the rear deck and door speakers.

i have this amp pushing two 10" dual speakers and by hearing' my system you would think i would have top of the line speakers but i don't this amp is pretty good and i ain't what you got it's how you work or make it work...easy to adjust don't have a million buttons real simple and good amp
