Good Value but understand

I just had to use mine for four days and experienced the following:1. Starts up easy and quick. I have electric start which is nice but tried the pull start just to see how bad it was. It was actually pretty easy.2. Easy to fill with gasoline.3. Roller tires are nice and the frame is well made and strong.4. Overall, very pleased and good value for the money. Not having to go to a hotel pays for itself the first time.5. Low oil will shut off the engine. Good feature. You cannot overfill the oil. Thats a nice feature too.6. Just stored it and found the thing is seriously easy. One socket fits all the bolts and nuts. The oil drain is on the side, not the bottom of the engine. That is sweet. Draining the fuel tank for storage just requires removing a bolt from the bottom of the cut off valve.Downers: Since I like to know the bad sides of any product.1. Not "quiet power" at all. But not any louder than anybody elses. Just don't expect a quiet purr.2. Be gentle with the float bowl drain bolts. They are aluminum and a soft tightening is all you need.3. No watt meter on the unit. It has a volt gauge but I bought a watt meter to put in the line to measure load. No big deal.4. Check the oil often until you break it in. Good advice for any new small engine.

Recieved the generator the same day a storm knock out our power. The generator was very easy to get setup and get running. excellent generator for the money.
