Easy way to convert analog video to digital

I bought this to use to convert a bunch of Hi8 8mm video to digital as part of my digital conversion project (trying to get all of my analog content - film, prints, video -- converted to digital).Was a bit concerned about the complaints I had heard on other web sites, but went ahead anyway.I opened the package, loaded the software, hooked up the connectors and I was off. It was easy to capture the video and easy to save it out in digital format. I haven't actually created and DVDs as that wasn't what I was trying to do (though I have done that with other videos without problems in the past).My only suggestion for improvement would be to enable capture of the audio from the same USB connector rather than having to connect up the audio jack separately. But that is a minor nit and didn't impact the success of my capture on my system.Very happy with the capture. Very happy with the price.Recommended for anyone trying to convert old analog tapes (VHS, 8MM, etc.)
