Nice ride / handling combination - big improvement over old struts

I had my struts checked a couple of months ago by a mechanic who said they were fine, but I replaced them anyway due to a front end rattle. I expected some ride and handling improvement but was really surprised by how much better the car handles. It's actually fun to drive. In high speed maneuvers on the freeway, for instance when avoiding a collision because another car suddenly moves into my lane, the car remains absolutely stable and predictable. It was not nearly predictable and as safe with the old shocks. The ride quality, while a bit stiffer than the old worn-out struts is still very comfortable.I replaced these myself and the strut assemblies seem to be high quality and they fit perfectly. My only concern is the "Lifetime Warranty." If Tokico no longer manufactures a particular shock (and these were missing from Tokico's website a couple of weeks ago) it makes warranty fulfillment difficult if one does goes bad.
