5Love hurts
By Onefungi
I love these shoes! They're extremely aggressive and no joke, they make me a better climber. I can use the tiniest dimple in the wall and it's solid. I've had them for about two years, using them about 2-3 times a week and they're still good. The top of the foot rubber makes a bat-hang seem elementary, but it has started to pull away from the cloth (not a huge issue climbing wise, just ascetic)The only issue with these shoes is not being able to wear them for extended periods of time. They hurt sooo bad. They are wonderful when actually on the wall, but as soon as I touch the ground they have to come off. I've heard the same thing about most other aggressive shoes, so I wasn't too surprised. They were true to size for me, I just went off the sizing chart available on the la sportiva website and measured my foot. It took about a month for them to stretch enough for it to not be torture, but it did stretch a little. I saw instant results when I got these shoes and I'd suggest these to anyone wanted an awesome pair of aggressive shoes.

5extra pair of hands? yes please
By Ross N
you will NOT regret buying these. period. there's a reason you see so many of the best climbers in your gym wearing Solutions. they're ridiculous for toeing in. the heels are fantastic too, but of course the main reason to get such aggressive shoes are the toes. I went from a tight-fitting (read as "correctly fit climbing shoe") 40.5 scarpa veloce's to an equally tight-fitting 40 in the Solutions. I've had them for 2 months, gym climbing 4 days a week and the shoes look barely used other than a nice coating of chalk. I will note that I try to save these for when I really need to put on my game face for those tough problems; however more often than not, I end up simply using these the whole session other than warming up.I wouldn't (and didn't) toss your old, less-aggressive shoes, because you will notice a difference on certain problems (or routes, you rope-lovers) when you need to smear or use a larger, concave foot-hold, or anything else along those lines. As a side note, if you're looking for a less aggressive shoe, I've been extremely happy with my veloces -- they're still going strong after close to 1.5 yrs of climbing 4 days/week (gym climbing, with a handful of outdoor trips)

5Fantastic Performance Shoe
By GatorAscender
I bought this shoe looking for performance only. And that is exactly what I got. A stiff powerful heel makes heal hooking a breeze and I don't worry about it pulling the shoe off. The toe is the most aggressive thing I've ever seen. And the rubber is super hard and sticky. I'm hoping they last for a long time. The only thing I dislike is they hurt. They are comfortable per se, but they are incredibly tight but you will want that if you want performance.
