Works on 5.4l too

I bought this for my 2001 f250 with 5.4l. Before I bought this I removed the cat, put on jba shorty headers and put the spd y pipe on. Those three mods helped but I didn't like the sound of the exhaust. So I bought this mbrp system. Install was super easy, and the system is made very well. With this system on my truck sounds mean. It rumbles at idle and cruising speed but isn't too load. Under acceleration my truck sounds awesome. It did drone quite a bit at 1700 to 1800 rpm. But I installed a 3 inch stainless braided flex coupling between the y pipe and the new exhaust. It completely stopped the drone. I don't know if it increased my mpg yet but it definitely increased the seat of your pants feel and it's easier to pass vehicles now. So buy this exhaust it produces deep v8 rumble and increases the performance.
