BEST/ONLY GOOD LASER SOLUTION FOR THE SIG P226 (LG-326 MODEL ONLY!!)

IPORTANT UPDATE!!! - REFERENCE CRIMSON TRACE WATCH BATTERIES CR2032'STHE DIAMETER OF THE CR2032'S BATTERIES FOR THIS HAVE CHANGED IN SIZE!!!! THE NEW CRIMSON TRACE BATTERIES NOW BEING MADE ARE MICROSCOPICALLY SMALLER AROUND THE LIP AREA THAN THE OLD ONES AND WILL NOT SNAP INTO THE SLOTS INSIDE THE GRIPS. IT'S LIKE TRYING TO PUT A DIME INTO A NICKEL SLOT. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM - YOU ARE NOT CRAZY OR IMAGINING THINGS.I CALLED CRIMSON TRACE WHO INTITALLY TRIED TO OF COURSE INSINUATE THAT THERE MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BATTERIES THAT I WAS USING OR THAT I WAS DOING SOMETHING WRONG. ONLY AFTER CT FIRST SENT ME TWO MORE SETS OF BATTERIES AND SEVERAL MORE ADAMANT PHONE CALLS BEFORE THEY RELUCTANTLY ADMITTED THAT "YES WE ARE FAMILIAR WITH THIS ISSUE ON SOME GRIP MODELS". I HAVE NO DOUBT THEY WERE ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH THE PROBLEM WAS THE FIRST TIME I CALLED, BUT ACTED LIKE THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT.TO CT'S CREDIT THEY FINALLY SENT ME A BRAND NEW PAIR OF $300 GRIPS AND I RETURNED THE OLD ONES, BUT AS IS TYPICAL OF MANY MANUFACTURERS THEY NEVER WANT TO ADMIT TO ANYONE THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW OR ISSUE.This review is for the less expensive LG-326 which I give five stars to and would highly recommend. DO NOT GET THE LG-426 OR LG-426M (Military Version) FRONT ACTIVATION MODEL!! The LG-326 is rubber coated the LG-426 is plastic and feels like cheap crap. The front activation switch on the LG-426M also does not remain on with a normal firm grip. The LG-326 also has an on/off master switch which the LG-426 models do not. If you have large hands the location of the dual side switches quite surprisingly (I would have thought the opposite) works better than the location in the front.THIS CT LG-326 IS THE ONLY PRACTICAL/DUTY LASER SIGHT SOLUTION FOR THE SIG P226 & PROBABLY MOST OTHER SIDEARMS. Skip the Internal Guiderod Lasermax. My experience with that piece of equipment was a total disaster. Also skip rail mounted lasers unless you don't care about what holster you have to use.Bottom line any sidearm laser that doesn't automatically come on as soon as you draw your weapon is basically nothing more than an expensive cat toy.
