Cool toy, but needs adjustments.
By Haz
The downsides:1. If you buy this, the first thing to do is put 4 layers of masking tape (cut into a circle) over the speaker. Otherwise, it is entirely too loud.2. It's also heavy, so 2 year olds need help flying it, but 3 year olds can handle it. Still, the wheels work well, so smaller kids can roll it.3. The characters need an older person to get them seated. The upside:1. Fun, educational toy. Designed well, except for the points above.

Could be better...
By janasaunt
I first saw this toy on ebay and started looking in our regular stores for it; finally, we found it at Target. My 5-year-old loves the Little Einsteins, so he was excited when I let him use his birthday money to buy this (since he was disappointed Santa didn't bring something like this last year). After taking it out of the box (much to my surprise, Fisher-Price improved the packaging so it doesn't take 30 minutes to get it out), we tried to put the figures in their seats - it's really difficult. They have assigned seats - opposite of the way they're sitting on TV, as far as I can tell - and need to be put in just right. To our surprise, when we put Leo in and pushed down, we heard June's voice, when we put June it, out came Leo's voice. I don't know if it's just ours that's wired wrong, but my son was disappointed by that. When it's turned on, it is just way too loud - hearing loss in the making. There is no volume control. I think the noise even bothers my son, because he rarely turns it on. I also agree with a previous reviewer that it's very heavy. Although it's a must-have toy for a Little Einsteins fan, since it's the only Rocket toy around that seats the figures, it could definitely use some improvement.

On the Loud Side, but Fun
By Coen's Mom
I bought this for my 4 yr old son and he enjoys playing with it! The only thing is that it is LOUD. A solution I find myself doing on many toys we buy, is place clear tape over the speakers. What a difference! It is also a bit on the heavy side, so my son just rolls it on the floor or on tables. Worth the purchase is your child is a fan of the Little Einsteins!
