Durable

I had to purchase these boots for my 17 year old son. He is taking building trades at the vocational school in our district. He has been coming home muddy but his feet are dry.

I work constrution in all kind of weather and my feet stay dry. This is my third pair in five years but i'm on hot asphalt alot in the summer and that is hard on the soles of the boot. The leather holds up real good. After a few months i spray mink oil on them to help keep them water proof.

shoes not identical

I like these boots. Bought a pair in the store and they wore well for a year which is typical for the tough country I live in. Bought my next pair onllne. Right and left shoe do not fit the same. Left shoe is snug and right is much looser fitting. Extra leather in upper on right shoe is obvious as the leather on this one folds and dimples. Completely unwearable. I like these boots but will never buy footwear online again.
