Needs custom install

Purchased this item for my '98 Tacoma. Amazon said it does not fit my vehicle, but the manufacture's site said yes, but it needs a mounting kit(Super Springs MTKT Mounting Kit) for springs which are above the axle (see also my review for the mounting kit). Since I decided to fabricate my own mounting kit, the install took me some time. I was able to re-use the factory rubber bumper by removing the welded bumper stop from the frame - giving enough clearance for full suspension travel, and still having a decent rubber stop for the big bumps in the road. The springs come with a substitute rubber bumper, but it looked too small to serve any purpose. Over all, the springs fit fine and appear to do the job intended.
