Disappointed

I was really bummed about this product. After seeing the other reviews I had high hopes. It installed very easily about 30 minutes (I've done a couple of these and this was on par with every other one I've done). I had it on for about 2 weeks during which time it worked almost flawlessly. It was tight as a drum and had much less movement then previous covers I've seen. Unfortunately, it didn't hold. While traveling, I heard a snap and looked back and saw a corner had let loose. I tried to come to a stop but unfortunately air got beneath it and tore the cover off, damaging the stitching holding the cross members to the tarp. It turns out the plastic that holds the latch to the cover frame broke which caused the tarp to release from that corner (which caused the further damage). It all seemed to be made of high quality parts, but attaching the metal latches to the metal frame with a small piece of plastic seems like bad design. Its possible that I may have just had a defective product, but I will not be getting a replacement. As always, Amazon was understanding and I sent it back for a refund (within the 30 day return period).

Excellent cover for those who do not want to spend a fortune

After a lot of research on line and not looking to shell out a lot of cash on an expensive cover I choose this one due to the price and information that I found on Truxedo. As for shipping time the cover it arrived within a few days of ordering it. Took less than 20mins to install and looks great on the truck it's very easy to roll up and reinstall. I have the under rail bedliner and the GM cargo management system I was able to install the tonneau cover without any problems or interference from the rails or bed liner. I just returned from a trip where I drove through couple of hours of heavy rain. When I arrived home my gear was nice and dry. Very nice cover time will tell but it seems well made.

Pretty good, cant complain yet

Installed pretty simply, and fits perfect.. I have a rugged bed liner in my 08 silverado 1500. I had to take a 1" drill hole in it, and then take a razor knife and cut out an area big enough for the clamps. Took around 20 minutes or so to do that. After the holes were cut, it took me around 10 minutes to install the actual cover. Extremely simple.It seems like its make out of good material, and the velcro is plenty, and seems higher grade. Ive only had it on for a little while, but so far so good, and it looks amazing. So far no leaking (its currently raining.) Although it was easy to install, for people that read instructions to the T, they should include a little more description in the booklet. I had no problem with it, but I know some people would be a little confused by the poor diagrams they illustrate.The shipping was extremely fast as well.
