Super steps

These steps were a fantastic deal! They mounted fairly easy even though there were no directions. (There probably are directions usually). The job was easy with a large breaker socket bar. Shipping was fast. Only wish there was a center bracket but the steps are solid and look very sharp on my 2011 EXT cab Silverado. Very satisfied. Amazon is fantastic!! These steps are a great product. I purchased steps earlier that were the wrong size and Amazon was super with the return.

Don't purchase unless you're mechanically inclined

The tube steps are beautiful and very solid once assembled. The stainless steel is also better than chrome because it will not rust over time. With all that being said the installation sucks!! The directions FAIL to inform you that you will need to use the stock body mount bolts to reattach the brackets even though they supply you with 4 of them! There WILL be leftover pieces when you are done installing the steps. Dee Zee's customer service is laughable at best, e-mailed them a question and 4 days later they responded, AFTER i'd already installed the kit. Be ready to run to the hardware store and buy 1 larger bolt and 8 washers for the rail on the passenger side. While the drivers side fits like a glove in between the brake cables the passenger side doesn't have brake cables and is a nightmare. If you can tackle all these obsticles then by all means get it, it's a great price for the steps...if you can't find another kit.

You need to remove your cab mount bolts (hand tools only). Not an easy job but it makes a firm step.
