Mount worked great for my 32" Samsung LCD TV!
By Handy Hillbilly
I am the type that researches everything that I buy and this was the case when I purchased this tv mount for my bedroom. Sanus has an excellent website with pdf downloads for each mount, which contains detailed drawings/schematics on every mount. The instructions were o.k., but the Sanus customer service phone assistance were very friendly and helpful. Mounting a tv in the bedroom involves quite a few decisions, which involve some thought such as:- Which tv mount best fits my particular application?- What size tv to purchase (I purchased a 32" Samsung) for approx. 10-12' viewing distance. I watch mainly non-high def. television broadcasts and DVDs)- The best mounting location (Where does the tv look the best)- How high to mount the tv for optimal viewing either while lying in bed or seated or both (I settled on 80" to the top of the tv from the floor - This is intended for watching tv while lying in bed)- Do you have any components? (I have a DVD player plus room for a future component, ie., HD box or XBox 360, so I also mounted a Sanus 2-shelf wall mount to accomodate these components and hide my cables Sanus VF2012 Single-column wall-mounted component rack. Looks great and provides a clean installation. NOTE OF CAUTION!- This system contains glass shelves which could be an issue for small children or pets.- What are my options for getting power and cable to this location? (I am an electrician who built my house, so cutting in an electrical box and cable behind my tv were not a problem although there was so work involved in accomplishing this - getting into my attic above my bedroom and crawling around in the insulation. Utilizing a bunch of tools (Drill, drywall saw, STUDFINDER, etc. Creating a bit of a mess. -Nothing a good shop vac can fix.) Another option would be the added cable management system from Sanus Sanus Systems ELM302-W1 Elements Cable Tunnel (Expansion Pack).Even though mounting a tv on a wall presents a few tough decisions, a bit of a mess, and some good old elbow grease (or in this case sawdust, drywall dust, and itchy insulation), it is worth it in the end because the tv looks great. If I were not the handy type, paying a professional would be advised. The Sanus MF209 worked great for my particular application, but you must know what you need for your own particular application (What is TV screen size, tv weight, where will I mount the tv, do I need it to tilt, swing, single or two arm mount, etc.) Deciding on what size tv you will buy is a good starting point in your decision. Place masking tape on the wall to picture what tv will look like in a particular location.Good Luck!!!

Fantastic
By Larry Finley
I had purchased a 32" flat screen to mount in the bedroom. I purchased an articulating mount locally because I was in a hurry. The mount was more expensive, hard to install and flimsy. This is the second Sanus mount I have purchased from Amazon. This was easy to install, very sturdy, very easy to move from left to right, very easy to tilt and rotate.

That was easy enough
By Daniel Coleman
I used this mount in my kitchen, under my cabnit and above my counter. I have a 19" TV mounted. It's length doesn't extend past my cabnit. I can swing the TV so I can view it from just about anywhere in the kitchen.Mounting was easy. Where I wanted mine mounted, I did not have studs located in that position to screw into. You can find the studs using a Stud Finder found at your local hardware store. I used 2 wall mounting brackets that tighten using a screw from the outside of the drywall to the bracket on the back side of the drywall.
