Pros: prevets sores due to pressure : can be laid on top of hotel or other mattress to replicate feel of hospital style pressure relief air mattress : small, light ; easy to carry : quiet, not bothersome : not too thick, only about 4". Makes transfers easy.Cons : slippery surface can cause user to slide off
