30 yr Condimento???
By CRAIG F
In the process of trying to find a nice bottle of Balsamico for my brother-in-law, I came across the following nice discussion of Balsamic Vinegars:[...]You read, you decide. The label clearly states that this vinegar is 30 years old - no argument there. However, it is listed as a "condimento", which is an unregulated designation typically ascribed to younger balsamicos.Hey- if you've got enough spare cash, buy a bottle of this and a bottle of a "Tradizionale" (say, a gold Modeno or a silver Reggio Emilia) and provide a review.Me? I can't afford two -- and probably wouldn't buy one at all if it wasn't a gift for my foodie bro'-in-law.....This might be a stellar vinegar. But how does it compare with Traditional Aged Balsamic of Reggio Emila 24 Year Argento Silver or Affinato, Aceto Balsamic Tradizionale di Modena DOP?Beats me....

Best Balsamic Vinegar
By M. C. Palmieri
I purchased this balsamic vinegar several years ago when I was last in Tuscany. It is certainly expensive but worth every dime! This is true balsamic vinegar that has been cooked and aged properly. The taste is sublime. Once you have experienced this level of balsamic vinegar you will understand the price. You will be spoiled for all others going forward.
