Product Description
Compatibility The Test Strip is compatible with both the INRatio and the INRatio2 monitor. Unique Electrochemical Technology The test strip is made of laminated layers of transparent plastic. The simple design features a sample well where blood is applied, 3 channels through which the blood sample flows to reach the testing areas, reagents to start the coagulation process, and electrodes that interface with the monitor. Built-In Quality Controls The monitor uses the test strip's 3 channel technology to perform the PT test AND 2 quality control tests (normal and therapuetic) simultaneously, and determines whether the controls are within preset limits. If they are, strip integrity is verified, and the monitor reports the PT test result. If they are not, the monitor displays an ERROR message. The unique technology of the INRatio strip performs the Quality Control test alongside the actual test sample, requiring no additional steps. Individually Wrapped Each Test Strip is individually wrapped in a foil pouch, offering protection from heat and humidity, and minimizing exposure to the environment. No Refrigeration Required Test Strips can be stored at room temperature until they expire, saving refrigerator storage space, and allowing more testing flexibility for patients when traveling.

When I first considered buying my INRatio Test Strips online, I was concerned about a risk of counterfeits. I compared the delivered boxing, packaging and actual product with my previous purchases from a local pharmacy. This supplier sent the true product, quickly and at a very competitive price. The expiration time is too close to the purchase time. These stips are not used on a daily basis and need to expire later.

This is my second time ordering and am totally satisfied (june 2012). Usually have a hard time finding these at a reasonable price, but the price was reasonable and so far I only had one that didn't work. This is good as I've had others that failed numerous times. These are too expensive to have a lot of failures. I'm very happy with this vendor and their product. Will purchase again.
