DETAIL EXCELLENT; THE WOODY'S HOOD OPENS TO SHOW A DETAIL ENGINE, THE REAR WINDOW DISPLAYS A HALF-DOZEN TINY TRAVEL STICKERS, THE PANELING IS REAL WOOD, THAT NICELY STANDS OUT WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM SOME "OLD ENGLISH" FURNITURE POLISH, AND THE SURFBOARD (EASILY MOUNTED ATOP THE LUGGAGGE RACK) BRINGS A 'GROOVY 'BEACHBOYS-LIKE QUALITY TO THE CAR. BY THE WAY, THE CAR WITHOUT THE SURFBOARD GOES FOR THE SAME PRICE ON OTHER WEBSITES, PLUS SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS, THAT I DIDN'T PAY FOR ON AMAZON.HOWEVER. BOTH THE BACK DOORS AND REAR HATCH DON'T OPEN, AND THIS PIECE IS ONLY OFFERED IN BURGANDY. THE $[...] PRICE TAG, THOUGH COMPETIATIVE, IS A LITTLE MUCH FOR THE PIECE, BUT THE FREE SHIPPING HELPS WITH THE OVERALL COST.BOTTOM-INE, IT'S CLASSIC REPLICA OF A CLASSIC CAR. THE WOODY WAS AN EXPERSSION OF YOUTH, FREEDOM, AND THE CALIFORNIA SURFER CULTURE IN THE LATE 50'S AND EARLY 60'S. IT WAS ALSO THE PRECURSER TO THE LATE 60'S VOLKSWAGON MINI-BUS AND TODAY'S MINI-VAN. Arrived quickly-- in perfect condition, & was glad I got it for a nice price, too. Actually it was white instead of maroon, but that's what I wanted, anyway. Very happy.
