The perfect summer bag!
By Brent C. Mills
This is by far the best sleeping bag I've ever owned. I took this bag on a 5 day backpacking trip around Mt. Katahdin and really put it to the test. I can't stand sleeping bags in the first place, so it's rare that I have anything nice to say about one. I like to stretch out when I sleep, and that just doesn't work when you're in a mummy bag. The square toe of this bag certainly helped over the tapered toe that I'm used to. Normally I have to give up the hood before I can get a square toe. Not only do you have a hood on this bag, but a mosquito net as well! Most of the mosquitoes disappeared after dark on my trip, but that's when all the spiders came out. I was the only person in the lean-to who wasn't covered in tick and spider bites at the end of the trip. My trip did push the temperature limits of this bag a bit. I ended up using a liner to stay comfortable in 35-40 degree weather. Still, I'd rather add a liner than be stuck in a bag that is painfully hot. At least with this bag, I can unzip is entirely and use it as a blanket on warmer nights. My biggest complaint about this bag is that the side zipper doesn't wrap around all the way along the bottom. Rather, there is one zipper on the bottom and one on the side with a small gap between the two. This didn't end up being an issue on my trip, but it does somewhat negate the bug netting. The only other complaints I have are rather minor issues. First, the bug netting doesn't have any type of rigidity added, so it simply falls back onto your face. This will keep some bugs away, but doesn't do much against mosquitoes unless you lay on your side and push the netting away a few inches. I would love to see some sort of rigid bar run through the netting to hold it just a little ways above my face. Lastly, I found it rather difficult to unzip the bag from the inside. I had a rather panicked moment in the morning when I thought I was stuck for a few minutes. Once you get the zipper started, it unzips easily, but it can take a little while to get things moving. All in all, this is a fantastic bag and I would absolutely buy another Snugpak in the future.

Excellent hot weather sleeping bags!
By Packrafter
These are first rate sleeping bags for hot and warm weather. I purchased one, tried it out for three months, and then bought a second one for my wife, too. My wife and I have used them in Florida for over a year and are absolutely delighted with them. Comfortable down to 50 degrees.Machine wash and dry. Made of all synthetic materials with a built-in, easy to put away, very fine insect mesh that protects from mosquitoes and sand flies. Very light weight and compact. We use a Sea To Summit Adaptor Coolmax Travel Liner in the Florida winter that adds a few ounces in exchange for more warmth and easier washing. I have also sprayed them twice with Sawyer Premium Permethrin Clothing Insect Repellent Trigger Spray during the bug season without problem. We have used them for tent, hammock, and minimalist tarp and raft camping. You can join two together to make a double bag for couples, too. There is also a Jungle Sleeping Bag Olive Left Hand Zip.If you are looking for an easy to use, light, compact, reasonably priced, good quality summer bag, you've found it!The delivery was very fast, too, both times. Highly recommend.

Great 1 season or Emergency bag
By N. Masters
Been contemplating buying one of these for quite some time now. I wanted a very small super lightweight sleeping bag for my emergency bag where the primary concern is size weight and the goal is survival, comfort is secondary to utility. I live in a temperate area of CA so realistically you could sleep outside with no protection I was considering getting a thick liner and using that for a emergency bag alone but I am glad I did not. This thing is only slightly larger (it really can compress down VERY small) and is very comfortable. The bag is deceptively huge when expanded, very wide and long with enough room to move around - almost too much room for heat retention (Im 5'11) but will be perfect for larger people. Fit and finish is excellent, snag proof zippers work pretty well but not flawlessly, net is very useful and rolls away when not needed. The compression sack it came with is tough and I do not see it breaking. The bag is plenty warm for its rating and I could see myself using it down to the mid 30's with a base layer on and being reasonably comfortable. The outside of the bag is slick reflective and the inside is a softer to the touch matte finish fabric. I also love that it fully unzips and can be used as a blanket if needed. If one were to combine this with a liner and or a bivy you could easily take it down into lower temperature range. All in all great buy, I'm sold on snugpak and from how happy I was with this bag just purchased a Snugpak Tactical 3 (higher end 3 season bag). Buy it!
