I have a CRF150RB that I use to ride trails. This bike is LOUD. Perhaps the loudest. Whenever I go riding with my friends, my bike is the one that's making all the noise. Whenever I hear other groups of riders, I can clearly tell when someone is using a 150R with the stock muffler. It is the loudest bike out of the bunch. I do not like that.After weeks of research, I decided to go with the FMF Q4 despite many claims that the Q4 does not work. Well I am definitely happy with the purchase. After starting her up, I immediately noticed that the exhaust note was quieter. I do not have anything to measure the decibel level but I can tell you that it is not much louder than my scooter (stock exhaust) at idle. I then got on the bike after I warmed it up and took her for a test spin around my neighborhood. I couldn't believe how much quieter it was than with the stock muffler. I did not cringe at the the thought of how loud it actually was outside my helmet. Granted, the Q4 does not make this bike super silent but I do like the fact that my neighbors looked at me and waved instead of covering their ears. I only take quick spins to test things out. I don't ride around my neighborhood for fun. I have not gone into the mountains as of yet but when I do, I will append that data to this review.In conclusion: The FMF Q4 WORKS. It is not hype. It works and if yours doesn't then something is WRONG and I'd advise you to repack yours or to contact FMF. If it works on a 150R, it'll work on ANYTHING.*Edit: After many rides in the hills, I can confirm that this slip on is awesome. It can take a beating too. After about 10 rides, It still remains quiet-ish. Horray!
