Good Quality

This globe is well made with a wood stand and metal meridian. Much better than the plastic ones that sell for 13.00 less. It has raised terrain areas and my kids love it.

The globe we purchased...

had a bit of an issue. The lines of latitude were not lined up correctly. It's noticeable, but we kept the globe. We watched how globes were made on YouTube to get a better understanding of the process. As for the detail of geography we found it to be exactly what we wanted. The globe sits on a nice wood stand and seems of solid construction.

With the world becoming smaller and news being reported about areas seldom mentioned,if at all previously, this globe gives excellent instant reference. Amazing family conversations result. It seems to be of interest to all ages.
