Their geographic origin is uncertain. They belong to the short, straight ridged pasta cuts. They are 1.889" long, between 0.041"- 0.045" thick , with a 0.444" diameter. Excellent with juicy ragus, either meat- or vegetable-based. Very tasty also with tomato.

My pasta arrived today, not a single broken piece! These days, when the dollar doesn't go very far, I use a lot of pasta, especially with leftover meat and vegetables, to make a meal to feed a lot of people.
