The right wire for the job... and possibly speakers... ALL 11 of them

I purchased this in-wall speaker cable back in November for a speaker wiring project in my new house. This is still an on-going project. Wire came from [...] via Amazon and I have to say that experience dealing with both (or either) has been phenominally positive.Wire (in 500ft spool) arrived in box. The outer (white), inner sleeve and copper appears professional grade. However, inner sleeve was too small to work with the banana plug I had, so this was the only let down... I must say that this IS NOT a fault with manufacturer, or product... just my own fault for not planning things out a bit better.Solution... I will be running Original Monster cable (with thick sleeve) from the media shelf up into the attic, then junction it off to this in-wall cable to all 11 location... yes... I said 11... this is why this is not done yet... This way, I have the look I want (in the media/network closet) and yet meet any code out there for in-wall wiring (as I'm told by a friend that there is one floating out there).Do you really need 12 gauge? probably not, but I'm one of those people who will go into a project with the intention of doing it once, doing it right and never EVER have to come back and do it again. Besides, I am hooking it up to B&W speakers... hopefully the fruit of my labor will pay off during the coming house warming and summer parties where I have already booked Granny's Gin to come over and play...
